This time back again I'm using BigDish which is an app with restaurant reservation features available on iOS as well as Android. The app with enough features makes it easy for restaurant reservations with attractive discount promos. This time I made a reservation for Swiss Cafe which is located in one of the famous 4 star hotel in Jakarta that is Swissbel Hotel Pondok Indah.

Using Bigdish, I got some nice discounts and besides that a very practical feature, without having to confirm by phone, I immediately get a confirmed booking notification in email and text. With this feature I stayed towards the restaurant and showed the notification only.

My visit this time at dinner, a restaurant with a large area. The dominance of wooden elements throughout the room combined with a plain sofa and chairs with blue carpet give the right blend. The restaurant area also overlooks a pretty pool section with lights at night. But unfortunately on that night it was raining so I could not get out to take photos.

The menu offered here is a variety of Western, Asian to Indonesian dishes. Not to forget, they also provide a variety of beverages both alcohol and non-alcohol. As per recommendation I ordered some food like Calamari rings, calamari fried in flour and served with mayo sauce. The texture is quite crisp but the flour is too thick in my opinion.

Followed by Salmon Yakimeshi, salmon fried rice served with salad and miso soup. Salmon fried rice is quite tasty very adapted to the tongue of Indonesia, but can be said far from the original taste of Japan. There is also, Beef Wagyu Sirloin with very tender pieces of meat and fat that melts perfectly. It became my favorite menu served with mushroom sauce or blackpepper, but I feel this is quite savory without sauce at all.

After the main menu, of course must try dessert here. I ordered the Apple Pie, a dish that was quite different from the usual. The pieces of caramelized apples are combined with raisins and served in a round pastry with a crisp texture. The beautiful presentation comes with a dazzling garnish. A strong sweet taste would be perfect for you sweet lovers.

The price offered is standard, about Rp 50,000 - Rp 100,000 we can enjoy dinner at this 4 star hotel restaurant. The atmosphere of the hotel is quite comfortable and quite lonely coincidence on my visit tonight makes this restaurant quiet. It's just that the service would be perfect if the food presentation timing can be more optimal. Do not forget to use Bigdish to get an interesting discount!
