Actually this spot is for hang out with friends, spend time by chit chat and coffee. As by the name, Koffie means coffee, Warung means shop, Tinggi is Tall. Not sure how history of it, but as seen, this place has been exist since 1878. I assume they have long history about it. By the concept, they serve various of traditional coffee also with modern coffee. Among the coffee, they also serve bunch of Indonesian food e.g. Nasi goreng, bakmi goreng or others similar dish. Restaurant is categorized by two spot which is non-smoking area and smoking area. But in fact, two area doesn't have any walls or separated which is you could smell the smoke from the other side. At first i found out the waiter is friendly and nice but what sad is, he is kind of lack information about the menu. I need to twice to ask what special menu they have. This time i only try the Salted Caramel Latte which is recommended with star.

Warteg is traditional eatery we may found alot in town. As usual, warteg only serving various of Indonesian home foods with traditional style. This time i'd like to mention the warteg with modern style called The Fame. It is located at Sabang street, Central Jakarta. We know this area has been crowded with many eateries also office and department store. Actually The Fame is same located with Martabak Boss, one of hits martabak spot in town. From the street we may see a huge bright with lights signage which is really clear about this restaurant. similar with traditional warteg, i saw a various cuisines ready when we came in the restaurant. But in here we also available to order ala carte from the menu. They also serve various of satay with many kind of sauces we may choose. At first, i found out some waiters are not capable enough to explain about the menu like example how many skewer on one plate also how many piece the squid in a portion. At least took about 15 minutes for u

Normally Japanese shabu shabu is common to be found in town. But this time i having chance to try Shanghai shabu shabu held by Pergi Kuliner at Dolar Shop Resto around Gajah Mada Area. Basicly is it a Chinese restaurant from the concept, theme and interior.  It is located inside the QNB Bank building on top floor. It has really huge space of restaurant though, we are not going to have various chinese cuisines here, but we are going to have a Shanghai style shabu shabu which is not common in town.

Don't refused the dessert. Eric Kayser is one of top bakery in town i recommended. They are served various of beautiful bakery and pastry. Actually they have been opening several branch abroad a malls.  This time i am having try their beautiful Eclair, 

This time i having chance to try another Padang restaurant in town. This place is famous by their Fish Head Curry. It is located around Pasar Baru area, as normally Padang restaurant, it has typical concept of depot style eatery. For note there's no air conditioner in this restaurant.  As recommended, i am ordering for the famous Seabass in Curry. Anyway they only served the fish head in thick curry sauce. It absolutely huge size of fish head, actually it is not my favorite part of fish, but for text my curiosity, this is a must dish to try in here.

After work, long day and tired is moment where i'd like to have a quick, simple, huge and delicious. After a hour meeting at Plaza Indonesia, i am heading to one of Burger spot at downstairs, It is not difficult to find this place which is you could see a huge letter signage "Fat Burger". The place is not really big, maybe around 10-12 tables. For quick choice i choose Blackpepper Classic Burger .

Back from travelling, i am sure miss Indonesian food really much. This weekend, there's an travel event organised by BC and supported by SQ airlines at Plaza Senayan where i saw totally crowded line from down to upstairs. Seems like everyone really excited about this. while at there, i am looking for Indonesian restaurant and i found Seroeni at Senayan City across the Plaza Senayan. At 11.00 am, it looks not quite many customers coming yet. I guess since it is not lunch time yet. It has bright wooden color around the restaurant from the ceiling, tables, chair and the staff all wearing typical Indonesia attire which is they really show obviously Indonesia restaurant. As i am craving Indonesian food a lot, so i pick what best in this countri is of course Fried Rice. For this time, i choose Belacan Fried Rice . 

Bangkok, Thailand is city with glorious retailer shops and of course with the joyful street food. But this time i am trying a smart casual dining in Thai classic restaurant owned by one of Thai royal family member. It is called Thanying restaurant, it is around Silom area. Well, it is easy to found it though. Thanying is not so far from Surasak BTS station, its about 10 mins walk to there. Front side we should see a quite huge signage which is clear. Place looks like an old house with quite space of parking lot at front. When come in, the waiter welcomed us friendly and nice. This restaurant sure has beautiful classic style with Thailand theme, wooden, mirror, sculptures and paintings. The waiter nicely bring us to the our table and offering menu book. Khao Che, is the first cuisine on menu book, 

After gone to Krabi, this time is for Phuket. We took about 3 half hours to get here by van. Honestly the van was unexpected, old car with broken air conditioner and such a tiny space for 10 passengers in a car. Arrived at Phuket, this i city looks crowded by tourist than Krabi. As my routine, i'd like to have top restaurant spot in here. By read the blogs and reviews also recommendation by some people in hotel, Baan Rim Pa is one of famous spot in here. From my hotel, it only took about 5 minutes by walk. What a good thing for me. Baan Rim Pa is local Thai restaurant located close to the beach and we may see a wide sea behind of there. It is huge place for the restaurant and quite many customers that evening. But unexpected waitress welcoming us with unfriendly act actually. She rushing us to chooce the menu and did not even have time to explain to us what recommended dish here should we have. Actually the rest waitress and waiter are doing good but this one is absolutely sho

After gone to Railay island, had a sunny day at the beach also flight at the morning from Singapore, i am sure want to have a great huge dinner. As from tripadvisor, i found the number 1st eatery in Krabi called Ton Ma yom. Actually this is tiny eatery in small street behind of the main road and really quite way to get there. Ton Ma Yom is local food eatery with homestyle concept. But when i arrived there, sure surprise with full seated customers. As i have reservation i have to wait for about couple minutes, good thing there's one customer just left. After i sit down, there's many peoples comes around and unfortunately they have to wait longer to be seated since all fulled. As homestyle eatery, the waitress here is really friendly welcoming the customers also the waiter as well. They just quick work lend us the menu book and served all the foods together in short time.
