Another time with Pergi Kuliner Team! Sure i am excited... This time we are having dinner together with other foodies at Fujin Teppanyaki & Japanese Whisky, Senopati. It is my first time visit here. I heard this restaurant has just been open recently.  As the name, they are built in Japanese concept which it Teppanyaki restaurant. All around the restaurant is having wooden theme. Start from the building, floor, wall, tables & chair and also it got a cooking bar at the center. Just let you know, they are only open in particular time, about lunch time and dinner time. So i suggest it necessary to have a reservation before going there, especially they are having a lot of customers though. They are specialized in various Teppan dishes, also many kind of meal we could have before start the dinner. First we have is  Tuna Tataki . it is sliced Tuna marinated and seared on a pan. It has beautiful presentation, nice red color of tuna, and it cooked well done. I

This is one my fav Mexican restaurant in town. It has nice place too, wooden house all around the place, it does feels western restaurant & bar. As you know, chili's is originally came from Mexico where they are offering various grilled menu and Mexican meals or snacks. Especially their nachos is awesome. During dinner time at 7.00pm this place is bit quiet. not many as seen, it is luck for me though, usually there's many customer though. Just as what i thought, about 8.00 pm, customers are coming and almost all tables are occupied. Chili's having one of fav dish is beef. Ribs or tenderloin could be good choice in here, but also they are offering various dish by chicken or fish. It also available for combo set which is we are able to choose 2 kind of selected meat on a plate. First dish i am talking here is  Country Fried Steak . We all know Mc Donalds. One of top fast food restaurant in town or even worldwide. This time i am visiting the Mc Donalds at Hayam Wuruk Area. At the afternoon, many people (kids, teenagers, parents, family) are having meals in here. Mc Donalds recently just offering a dish that they had before which is " Fish Fillet Burger " and " Fish & Chip " So i am sure order for this two and i can say it is not really fascinating. This evening it has a foodies event at Sunny Side Up restaurant, Central Park Mall, Jakarta. This restaurant is about egg since all main dish are made by egg as the main ingredient. Restaurant has lovely concept by bright yellow color all around the spot and wooden pattern with some cute art on the wall. The event is going on 6.30 pm, which i am quite late arrived there after work about 7.00pm. But at least i am not the last. I meet up with other foodies there and we talk about out background story such as living and work also our passion about foods before starting our order.  As recommendation, Sunny Side Up is suggesting for their Omurice with various side dish and sauce also we are available to create our own preference omurice with our choice for the rice, sauce, side dish and condiments. It sure does interesting isn't it..? We together are order quite many variant of omurice, for me i am having  Katsubushi Spicy .

This restaurant has quite many branch in town, i guess most everyone have been try out their foods. They are popular indeed with their hotplate. In this chance, Pepper Lunch just opened new branch in Grand Indonesia Mall and they are offering some promotion here. As normally this restaurant has fast food concept service. I am not fan of this restaurant but they are one of spot with different concept of service. i am having two kind of dish  Chicken Pepper Rice .

First time having try one of teppanyaki restaurant in Grand Indonesia Mall, Tairyo Japanese Restaurant. This restaurant is spotted at 5th floor around hte spot used for bazaar normally. Not really crowded during weekday after work than on weekend, almost all tables are full. Tairyo has japanese concept which is specialized in teppanyaki dish. They also provided each tables face to teppanyaki grill. We are available to pick any various dish start from vegetables, chicken, meat and seafood also others choice of rice and noodles. Each person is served with  miso soup . It has warm, and nice sense of miso. It is good while it still warm.

Who doesn't know Bakmi GM..? It is one of famous noodle restaurant in town. They are popular by serving various of noodle dish. I have been eating this since i was kid and this time, they sure have many branch all around the country. For your information Bakmi means noodle, Gajah Mada is taken from location in town. Long time ago, business start from tiny eatery on the street, but with proud now they are one of giant noddle restaurant. We could find them almost all around town. Nowadays, Bakmi GM not only selling a noodle but they also serving various other dish. For this time, i am visit Bakmi GM at Lotte Shopping Avenue. In here, they are spotted at food avenue area amongs other restaurant. For first, i order  Bakmi Kuah Cha-Cha .

It's my day! year has been almost done, time past so fast and i am getting older. But i am graceful for everything, and what cool is, today if the day of the dead :-D. Tonight i am celebrating birthday dinner with my family at one of my favorite restaurant. Njun Njan in Central Park Mall. Actually Njun Njan has few of branch around town, so it should be easy to find this restaurant. Since it is monday, so it is not really crowded. even when i arrived, it's only 2 or 3 tables seated. While waiting my family, i just start order by myself. Which is must is  Birthday Noodle  as Chinese tradition, it is important as symbol for long life.

Came back in Jakarta  and it's October, time for celebrate Germany October Festival. Many restaurant has been offering Germany food package this month. This time i am having chance dinner at Collage, it is spotted at Pullman Hotel Central Park. Actually i have been here for several times before, as i know they are serving many variant of foods by asian or western. This evening, they have different menu by October festival event. I am going to have Germany style menu from main course to dessert. Fisrt start, i am having  Corn Soup .

I am in Sentosa, one of top vacation spot in Singapore yah. All about happy moment in here. Actually i planned of to get enjoy at Universal in Horror Halloween Night event which is start on 7.30pm. So i decided to arrived there afternoon while i could enjoyed around Sentosa and of course have try a foods at there. This time i'd like to mention about one fine dining restaurant called Osia. It is spotted exactly in Sentosa island, where we may see a huge sign top of restaurant. It is open from 6.00pm until night which is closed at the day, but what information is they are opening at lunch time as well. This restaurant has nice ambience, luxury cream color, interior just exactly fine dining concept and we may look at the open kitchen where all the chef working together preparing foods. I get inside just exactly on 6.00pm which is 2nd customer. we are welcome by a waitress, then she lend us to the table also she nicely asked what we'd like to drink and give plenty time for

City with a lot of foreign tourists with the temples of historical relics are totally amazing. In addition, I also had the opportunity to visit one of the famous Khmer restaurant here with the name Chanrey Tree. Located in downtown Siem Reap close to the night market and city center. From Sofitel where I stay, we only need 20 minutes by tuk tuk, public transport easily found here. In addition, at an affordable price of US $ 1.00 per person. Getting there, we were greeted with a friendly and smiling face. Here are 3 sections where there are a seat that leads to the courtyard & highway, on the inside with air conditioner or on the second floor with different views. Due to the night with the weather is cool enough, then I choose a seat that leads to the yard, so can enjoy dinner while looking at the restaurant garden with beautiful decoratio

Second night at Phnom Pehn before leaving to Siem Reap, i am going to look for authentic Khmer restaurant in town. As Hotel suggestion, Malis Restaurant is one of best spot to go with typical Khmer foods.I am sure excited, it just took 20 mins by tuk tuk to be there from Sofitel Phnom Pehn. It only charged for US$ 3.00 one way, i guess it is good price to take. Arrived there, we are welcomed by waiters with warmly smile and they asked where we would like have a seat between the inside or outside, from the entrance we pass through the beautiful garden with small pond at the center. We choose seat at inside, at least it has an aircond, humid weather outside. We ordered several typical Cambodia menu. Before start our menu, we are served by welcome appetizer dish is  mango slices in chili oil with shrimp paste .

Recently i went to dinner event held by Mercure Sabang, Menteng, Central Jakarta. It is a hotel with 4 star classifield. In this event, Mercure is offering night dinner with special perfomance by senior musician, Andre Hehanusa. Just being honest, i am not really familiar though, but should say he has great vocal. Dinner is really crowded, music is on and many people enjoying dinner on table or even standing. Variant of Indonesia cuisines looks tempting around the hall. Won't waste my time and need much nutrition afterwork, i just grab foods start by the appetizer i have bunch of  traditional Indonesia cake .

Bandung, one of favorite city for culinary hunting. This time i  visiting Kampung Daun, one of Sundanese restaurant spotted in Lembang,West Java. As we know all around here is having mild air, clean, windy and cold sometimes. Kampung Daun is authentic Sundanese restaurant with really green concept. Traditional wooden house as the eating spot, trees over all the restaurant. I am here with my family, we order several Indonesia typical dishes. start by Karedok. It is a raw vegetables mixed with peanut sauce.

Night in Bandung, West Java is one excited moment for most people when visits here and so do i. This Sat night i spend time with my family at Dago area for dinner. We are going to Congo restaurant, it is one of famous restaurant and has become top 10 list in some food forum and websites. As many restaurant, Congo also built in Sundanese concept where we may see many wooden elements, plants, and stones.  What special in here is the magnificent view, place and ambience giving a great feeling, mild and fresh air is exactly what i need after been long week in Crowded city. in Congo, we may order two kind of foods which is Indonesian or western food. There's a rice, soto, sop Iga bakar or tenderloin steaks, pasta, burger and many others. First i am having  Grilled Kakap Steaks . It is Kakap fish been grilled, with chili sauce, bunch of vegetables and seasoned grilled potato.

October now, It's 2nd day after we got salary and it is Friday! So me and some colleagues having plan to get dinner together for enjoying our hard work result :-). We are going to Grand Indonesia Mall, where the closest mall from our office. We decided to go to Hawaiian Bistro, it's a first Hawaiian Bistro i found around here. as the name, they are offering Hawaii cuisines with tropical ambience.  for note, half part of this restaurant is smoking area, where if you prefer non-smoking, there would be available tables front part of the restaurant. Well, luck for me this time nobody smoking except one of my friend to get away a while for have a cigarette.  As this our first time, so it took a while for us to look at the menu. It has various Hawaiian dishes, side dishes and drinks. So i decided to have  Loco Moco.

Sunday, another moment for dish hunting. This weekend i went to Carnivor. It is been trending surround the town though. It is located at Pantai Indah Kapuk Area, align with Sumoboo, Tim Ho Wan and others. I think Carnivor has been existed since PIK become a hang out spot in Jakarta. As the name, we already have a thought this restaurant is offering Meats as the main course and it is right. Carnivor is having concept of restaurant and grilled bar. Various meats on menu and sidedishes and it is built of american grilled restaurant. Without any appetizers, i order main dish by meats platter.

Who doesn't know Pullman Central Park... one of luxury hotel spotted in one of most traffic in town with few malls and apartments. It is located exactly on Central Park Mall, if you're pass through the Sogo Dept store, there has a exit door aside and just right go to the Pullman. In this hotel has their signature restaurant called Collage. Actually i had been here for dinner previously. For this time i having chance to taste dessert by Chef Alexis Gudimard, pastry chef in Collage. week ago accidentally i watched on TV, Masterchef Competition  show and he was a guest mentor for making beautiful dessert called St Honore. It's really wonderful i could have chance for this and even met him there. He seems nice and kindly talk about what he's doing and how exactly making the dessert. What i always remember Sept is time for Mom birthday month. days before with my brother and sister in law, we having a surprise plan for her in birthday.
