Osia, Sentosa, Singapore

I am in Sentosa, one of top vacation spot in Singapore yah. All about happy moment in here. Actually i planned of to get enjoy at Universal in Horror Halloween Night event which is start on 7.30pm. So i decided to arrived there afternoon while i could enjoyed around Sentosa and of course have try a foods at there.

This time i'd like to mention about one fine dining restaurant called Osia. It is spotted exactly in Sentosa island, where we may see a huge sign top of restaurant. It is open from 6.00pm until night which is closed at the day, but what information is they are opening at lunch time as well.

This restaurant has nice ambience, luxury cream color, interior just exactly fine dining concept and we may look at the open kitchen where all the chef working together preparing foods. I get inside just exactly on 6.00pm which is 2nd customer. we are welcome by a waitress, then she lend us to the table also she nicely asked what we'd like to drink and give plenty time for us to look at the menu. 

Not so many waiter i seen, only got 3 guys and 1 girl. But since restaurant just open so not many people coming yet. Then we decided to have some menu by one appetizer, main course and dessert. We are having starter by it called Seafood Ice Experience.



What a new experience this! It is a several shooter cup of ice by fruits and others flavors. And what unique is each ice topped with various of seafood consist on salmon, tuna, prawn, and clam. It's beautiful isn't it?! :-) Sure it is delightful, cold ice, fresh seafood and some got rums which is give more another sensation.


For the main course we are having  Milk Fed Lamb Short Loin & Breast. Swede carrot puree, romanesco, garlic cream spelt & tawny port sauce.



It has beautiful plating, nice balanced colors, beef texture really great, tender, soft and really good taste. Lamb has grilled nice as well, real smell of meat pleasure.  Not huge portion, but it taste awesome. Then, for the dessert, i am having Valrhona Chocolate Soup. Bowl of Chocolate lave cake with black peppered ice cream and sesame crisp.


Ice cream sure delightful, and sweet crepes does balanced flavors. What amazing is the chocolate cake such a lovely dish, delicate sweet of chocolate and soft texture give much pleasure indeed.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There
