DC Comic Superheroes Cafe, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

Last month, i have been gone to Singapore. In purpose to look for bunch of Michelin Star restaurant. Apparently i have try some of hawker center food also fine dining as well. Among those, i also have chance to visit non michelin star spot around Marina Bay Sands.

One of the luxurious place in Singapore with various of fashion brand also popular restaurant. Just exploring through all the corner, you would see this restaurant really stand out from far away, Superheroes Cafe.

During the Suicide Squad movie has been happening that time, superheroes is like a new virus among the trend. People just so curious and excited about something new. I am not sure how long this restaurant has standing here, but this is my first time actually.

All interior are covered up by DC Theme, with various superheroes characters also the villains as well. There's got bunch of DC comic books too, i am sure if you are DC fans, you would need to stay longer here.

During lunch time, it is quite crowded, good for me arrived here earlier. Unless, i need to be in waiting list. As superheroes theme, they also offering various of food in superheroes theme. Start from burger, pizza, pasta or some american breakfast dish. I think it is really fancy enough to attract the customers and Instagram user.

But sadly, what came out dish is not in a good presentation though. Just like this pasta, a black squid ink pasta with cheese in Batman shape. Just about few seconds, cheese is been already starting melted.

I must say it is quite awful look. But the taste of pasta is nice though. Great pasta texture with a delicate seasoning. I do like it. Prawn also cooked well done, bit juicy and nice seasoning. Other than food, i also ordered the drink by Green tea blended topped by chocolate powder with Suicide Squad text.

Once again, the letter pouring is not good enough. Bit messy but yah nevermind, at least i should know the capability of presentation here. I am not recommended for this one, name sounds interesting but taste is funny. I am not sure i taste the green tea here, mostly just about sugar, milk and sweet at all. Ice lemon tea should be better i think.

Well, overall my experienced here was not a awesome. But seems many people are waiting to get here, this is what i called about trend, it is just like a virus come approach everyone. I m not sure would come back here for another time, other than the Superheroes fancy concept, i did not feels any excitement regarding about the foods, also the service just fine. Somehow, staff looks confused serve the customers especially when it was crowded.

For your note, it is pricey cost you would need to pay. One food and drink should cost you more than SGD$ 30.00 i think that is not cheap though. But to break out your curiosity, you might want to try maybe once in time only.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. Real Ingredients of Japan, Sushi Maru, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English 2022 is here! Welcoming the new year with joy and enthusiasm. This time I will tell you about a Japanese restaurant in the Golf Island area, PIK which is currently one of the trending destinations in Jakarta. It is undeniable that Japanese cuisine has indeed become one of Jakarta's society's favorites, so many Japanese restaurants can be found here. As a lover of authentic food, I really prefer Japanese restaurants that prioritize quality ingredients and classic tastes, although the current twist food variant is also very interesting. Sushi Maru has been operating since the end of 2021, with a Japanese feel in general using a wooden theme interior throughout the area. There are two floors with a large area capacity. But keep in mind, you should make a reservation before coming here, especially on weekends. One of the top menus here is Japanese Oyster, especially Reiwa Oyster, this dish is only available upon request. With a size that is much larger than the lo...
