Mujigae, Mall Ciputra, West Jakarta

This lately, out town has been poured by rain like almost everyday. Surely this is not a great weather for hang out. As that, i also craving alot for warm soup or anything hot dish to mild the body.

Been a while haven't visit the Mall Ciputra, one of hang out spot aside with the famous university in town. I noticed there's a bunch of new shops also restaurant i haven't seen at last visit. One of casual dining i do interested is this Korean spot with bright and modern concept.

I took space at outdoor area where there's a bunch of glass boxes consisted table and chairs for about 4 persons. Also there's some of tables and chairs around as well. Luckily rain is stop, so i could sit at there.

Another modern concept here, customers are allowed to order by our self only click the ipad on table to make an order. Just get click by click to look at the menu, make an order then it would showed our order and the process. I order the set menu here is Spicy Ramyun + Korean fried Chicken. It has pot with spicy ramyun (typical korean noodle soup) with red color.

I found out it is quite good, warm and bit spicy taste sure up here. Noodles is nothing much different with instant noodles we used to eat. But i think mostly Korean restaurant are serve this kind of noodles.

It served along with Fried Chicken in thick sweet sauce. I do like this one, such a crunchy light bites to have and it is tasty with it sauce. Also don't forget the fresh cold kimchi in small plate. Not really strong kimchi i think, but it is fine.

For price, i may say it is quite normal. for saving cost, this set menu sure recommended. You may have various of dish on one tray with reasonable price about Rp 40,000. For service, i think they are doing good, not a really friendly waiter but they too the order quickly enough.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There
