Chung Gi Wa, Central Park, West Jakarta

Another choice of worldwide cuisines in town is Korean food. It sure has different concept and ingredients using among the other Asia countries. Even though Japanese food has been more popular, Korean food also following the trend in town nowadays. Especially when K-pop is booming down the world.

One of Korean restaurant i may recommended is Chung Gi Wa. Actually they have been opening several branches in town. In main concept, Chung Gi Wa is specialized in Korean grilled food. But they also offering other various Korean Cuisines e.g. Bimbimbap, jigae and many others.

At this chance, i am not going to talk about the grilled since i decided to taste their other dish. Before start our course, the waiter would serve the general Korean side dish like kimchi, sweet potato, lettuce, peanut, etc. And in here, don't worry about drink, it has Korean tea and it is for free and refillable.

All ingredients sure served in fresh condition and i quite like it, each dish sure gave me mood buzzer to eat more. Continue to main course, i have the Yukhwe Bimbimbap. It is cosisted by beef tartare mixed rice with much vegetables and stunning egg on top.

I think this is really stunning dish, it does really fresh and i could taste the various of healthy vegetables. Beef sure taste really good too, juicy and fresh also not a heavy fat on here. I just need to mixed all ingredients together in this quite huge bowl i may say. Another dish i have here is Doenjang Jjigae. It is a black bowl with soybean paste stew with tofu, vegetables and seafood.

Not a stunning presentation, but i cay smell a strong sense of seasoning in this. In fact, the Jjigae is really strong by sour and salty taste. Much tofu in here, i quite like it especially when it is hot/warm.

For service, during dinner time, this place sure is really crowded and somehow waiters looks confused while serve the customers. But overall, i may say they doing fine. For the price, i can't say it is a low cost dining. But i guess once a time, it should be worth it for the taste they offer.
