Mangia, Grand Indonesia Mall

I remember few months ago i found one spot restaurant with beautiful dessert. Mangia is spotted on 5th floor Grand Indonesia mall. From front side, this restaurant is not really eye catching much. Only signage of letter without any light.

Even inside this restaurant also not bright enough though during evening. There's a lights around but seems not bright enough, i had quite difficult moment while taking pictures. Apparently at the day they have good lighting by the sun light came through the window from outside the restaurant.

as heard, they are served various of western, italian and desserts. I found out they are actually offering western asian fushion cuisines. I ordered the Nasi Jeruk Sambal Dori. It is mixed white rice with kaffir lime leaves, special herbs and spicy dori.

It has nice smell, strong herbs spread out around the bowl. But it seems too much chili cut, i feels not really comfortable bites while lot of rough chili cut. Dori has been cooked well done though, nice seasoning and it is good texture. Also perfect with lime leaves does give great smell and taste.

And for the dessert i have a Bali Halu Bowl. Frozen Dragon fruit topped with mango, strawberry, granola, pineapple and papaya. It is absolutely beautful dish.

gorgeous color of dragon fruit, have lovely taste and cold. Of course don't forget the various delightful fruit slices. Anyway, this could be full enough for one person so better get it for share.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors ...

Real Ingredients of Japan, Sushi Maru, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English 2022 is here! Welcoming the new year with joy and enthusiasm. This time I will tell you about a Japanese restaurant in the Golf Island area, PIK which is currently one of the trending destinations in Jakarta. It is undeniable that Japanese cuisine has indeed become one of Jakarta's society's favorites, so many Japanese restaurants can be found here. As a lover of authentic food, I really prefer Japanese restaurants that prioritize quality ingredients and classic tastes, although the current twist food variant is also very interesting. Sushi Maru has been operating since the end of 2021, with a Japanese feel in general using a wooden theme interior throughout the area. There are two floors with a large area capacity. But keep in mind, you should make a reservation before coming here, especially on weekends. One of the top menus here is Japanese Oyster, especially Reiwa Oyster, this dish is only available upon request. With a size that is much larger than the lo...
