Ling Ling, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta

Bahasa l English

Syah Establishment opened a new restaurant in the South Jakarta area, which the Jakarta society has been waiting for. Ling Ling is certainly familiar if you have ever visited their restaurant that previously operated in the Kuningan area, Jakarta. After just closing for quite time, they again present this brand with a different restaurant concept.
Still with the theme of Chinese restaurant, instead exclusive dining they put a casual style with the concept of a cafe that looks relaxed. Standing with a large building, a spacious restaurant room and a modern open kitchen. Only open for about a month, this restaurant is quite crowded by visitors, especially during lunch hours.
The menu offered is certainly in the form of Chinese cuisine that is familiar to the Indonesian tongue. One of the popular menus of the Jakarta community is dim sum. Interesting dim sum choices like Lion's Head Meatball, Cheung Fan, Crab Dumpling and my favorite is Salted Egg Custard Onde-Onde, medium sized puffy balls filled with salty egg sauce that is thick and rich in flavor.
In addition to dim sum, visitors will also be spoiled with a variety of modern presented Chinese dishes such as Wonton Soup, Orange Chicken, Hainan Poached Chicken and the unique Crispy Corn with an attractive appearance. Visitors can also enjoy delicious dishes accompanied by selected wines available here.
For the price offered is quite standard, especially with the taste of food that deserves thumbs up. I certainly feel satisfied eating lunch here, besides delicious food, a comfortable place and serving food timing is also quite fast.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors ...

Monogram Bistro, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta

Bahasa l English Almost every month we find new restaurants all over Jakarta. This time i visited Kelapa Gading area which i rarely explore. Monogram is one of the most trending cafes currently operating here. It does not take long to attract the attention of foodies in Jakarta and certainly other culinary enthusiasts. From the outside it looks magnificent with a big signboard that clearly shows the writing of Monogram. While there is a second floor which is a karaoke area with a different brand. Monogram presents a modern concept with dominant dark colors that give a touch of elegance. A large area complete with a beautiful bar and there is a private space decorated with colorful paintings look instagramable. The menu concept offered is a modern theme that is currently trending in Jakarta society. Some interesting menu such as huevos racheros served on pan, Mexican food, minced beef processed with tomato sauce, eggs then complete with classic salsa and fresh avocad...
