Bahasa l English

Looking for interesting and modern Indian culinary inspiration? Here is the place, Bambaiya which mean the Bombay or Indian people is modern restaurant presented by Queen's Tandoor which is certainly familiar to the Jakarta society especially Indian food fans in town. The concept is like a cafe in India that can be seen around of the city.
Located in South Quarter, South Jakarta, Bambaiya has a comfortable outdoor area surrounded by greenery and a fish pond that gives a beautiful touch. Entering the restaurant, we will see a variety of interesting colorful decorations, bright theme and some Indian typical ornaments. In Accordance with the concept of fusion, we will found various Indian dishes but with different presentation and flavor.
Before starting to eat, the right choice we enjoyed a unique Indian Chai Tea. Black tea combined with a mixture of typical Indian spices created a fragrant aroma. It tastes good with the right concetration and not too sweet. After that, i tasted several Indian fusion dishes that looked different from other restaurant such as:
1. Persian Shakshuka, egg preparation with crispy potatoes stick blended perfectly together and complete with okra which are often processed into food. The fragrant aroma, the crunchy sensation of the potato also the thick flavor of egg made me quite addicted to it. especially when the egg yolk blended  with the whole dish.
2. Pao Bhaji, is one of the classic menu that is favorite and popular. Processed curry with thick vegetables enjoyed along with warm and soft butter bun. The savory taste of curry taste very delicious and does not make it too much though it is eaten continously.
3. Hariyali Paneer Tikka, a unique dish that i have never seen before. Cottage cheese with an attractive shape, then a solid texture then combined with tikka sauce which gives a different unique flavor. Complete with fresh yogurt and an attractive mint aroma that provides the perfect combination.
4. Lamb Charcoal Biryani, this main dish is my favorite. A dish of biryani rice wrapped in a bowl made of charcoal "naan" along with a tender pieces of mutton and a very savory taste. Every scent of herbs & spices blends well with a pleasant Indian sensation of taste.
Bambaiya will be the right choice to enjoy interesting Indian cuisine. Here is also a large bar with a variety of delicious cocktails. Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors ...

Real Ingredients of Japan, Sushi Maru, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English 2022 is here! Welcoming the new year with joy and enthusiasm. This time I will tell you about a Japanese restaurant in the Golf Island area, PIK which is currently one of the trending destinations in Jakarta. It is undeniable that Japanese cuisine has indeed become one of Jakarta's society's favorites, so many Japanese restaurants can be found here. As a lover of authentic food, I really prefer Japanese restaurants that prioritize quality ingredients and classic tastes, although the current twist food variant is also very interesting. Sushi Maru has been operating since the end of 2021, with a Japanese feel in general using a wooden theme interior throughout the area. There are two floors with a large area capacity. But keep in mind, you should make a reservation before coming here, especially on weekends. One of the top menus here is Japanese Oyster, especially Reiwa Oyster, this dish is only available upon request. With a size that is much larger than the lo...
