3 Nagas Restaurant, M Gallery by Sofitel, Luang Prabang, Laos

Bahasa l English

In the vicinity of downtown Luang Prabang, it is not difficult for us to find a variety of lodging, dining and outdoor restaurant areas that attract enough attention. 3 Nagas is located near the city center with two opposite areas.
A luxurious hotel with a classic hotel structure and is a historic building with interesting old stories. In the past, 3 Nagas by the name of Lamache is the home of a family with an ice cream business that presented to the Royal Family of Laos. Now we can also enjoy Luang Prabang legendary ice cream with the price of 16,000 kip which is the currency of Laos around Rp 27.000. It seems like the standard ice cream that we usually find anywhere.
3 Nagas is basically a restaurant with the concept of local food that is Lao food. Laotian specialties are unique and worth a try. One of them Mee Gouy Phan, dish platter with a variety of food that does seem attractive. Consists of vegetables, vermicelli, and processed sauce from eggplant with spices typical of Luang Prabang. How to enjoy this dish by taking a lettuce and then combined with all the elements on the platter and enjoyed it together.
The fresh taste of the vegetables with the puree eggplant blend that tastes sweet and savory is delicious. Coupled with some vegetables with crisp texture gives a pleasant sensation. This menu will be very suitable once enjoyed in the beginning and can for sharing two or three.
Followed by a typical freshwater fish menu Laos namely Mhok Paa. Similar to Indonesian food, fresh water fish processed with special spices and wrapped in leaves. Once opened, smelled of fragrant and seductive aroma is really good. The fish has a soft, odorless texture and a delicious flavor. This dish is well suited to enjoy together with sticky rice served with a lucid purple color. Just has good enough texture, deliciously enjoyed with Lao dishes.
The drink is worth a try that is Baelfruit Ice Tea, a drink that is pretty much found in restaurants around Luang Prabang. Flavor baelfruit is quite unique, in Indonesia known as fruit maja, contains sweet liquids and fragrant aroma. It's incomplete if you do not try the legedary ice cream here since ancient times. Every day there are different flavors available, this time I try the rosella variant with a bright red color looks interesting.
Ice cream texture should be a classic with a fast density melt, it tastes fresh but not so amazing where today we can feel the ice cream with quality and taste choices are very unique. However, as I say, ice cream can be enjoyed at an affordable price.
Overall the lunch experience this time was quite memorable. Authentic Lao specialties and a balanced blend of taste are very satisfying. The presentation of food is not too excessive, the simple appearance gives a local touch and of course coupled with the friendly and informative restaurant service.

Phoenix Gastrobar, Newest Aesthetic Lounge, Pantai Indah Kapuk, Jakarta

Bahasa l English Back to writing a blog, okay while I had time to break after the festive season in last December 2022. In 2023, of course, I hope to be able to actively blog again with the latest and interesting information that I think is memorable to convey. So like this bar that just opened in the Pantai Indah Kapuk area of Jakarta. Phoenix Gastrobar, a new concept presented by HWG, is one of the newest brands by the pioneers in the restaurant, bar, and club industry today. Next to each other between the two clubs presented before, are Tiger & Dragon Bar. The concept offered at Phoenix is completely different from previous HWG outlets. First I'll say the interior is absolutely stunning, with 3 story bar & lounge with stairs that reminds me of Hogwarts, the school in the Harry Potter movies. There is a DJ booth in the main area, a fountain that gives an elegant impression, and a bar station with a magnificent display rack of dozens of liquor. If you have frequently visi
