 The concept of healthy eating has become a trend and culture that many people are interested in today. Not only healthy, but also offering delicious flavors and amazing presentation. This time, I visited a restaurant with a healthy eating theme carried by one of the chef who is popular in Jakarta.


Chef Marinka is certainly well known throughout Indonesia, with her performance on culinary TV shows and she is busy running a restaurant culinary business by the name of Mars Kitchen. With the concept of a minimalist cafe, using dominant wood material, then the floor with cement make the cafe atmosphere like in a simple house and equipped with green plants that give a beautiful touch.


The menu offered is a modern fusion menu with a healthy food theme that uses a variety of quality and healthy ingredients for our bodies. But do not worry about the taste, with the experience of Chef Marinka who has been long enough exploring food journey as a Chef, Mars Kitchen certainly provide a healthy eating experience with delicious taste. Each menu is written complete with any ingredient used. So, that allows us to know what is contained in food that we would order.


The first food I tried was the Soba Salad as an appetizer. A bowl of soba noodles served with chunks of salmon & dressing. It feels quite unique, a bit creamy but not heavy. It's just that the serving is very small.


Then, there was a Baked Rice with Black Rice, cooked rice wrapped in leaves that have a fragrant aroma. Although without flavorings, but this one is quite savory with a fairly dominant spice.


My favorite menu is Chicken Burger. A dense bun comes with a soft patty, then a tasty flavor that fits and dressing is not excessive. This menu instead served with french fries, they use a sweet potato fries with a sweet taste without any seasoning.


 In addition to food, not to miss a drinks offered are also still in a healthy theme. Various kinds of smoothies from fresh ingredients with variant taste and color are diverse. I tried Green Goddes, with a solid green color consisting of cucumber, apple, lemon and coconut water. According to the information listed, the benefits of this drink can be to reduce stress, support the work of the heart, prevent Alzheimer's disease or fight Parkinson's disease.


In addition to drinks, do not forget to try a various cakes provided. With a beautiful presentation, a sense of fun and of course with healthy ingredients. Overall, I quite enjoyed the lunch experience here, with a modern minimalist home concept providing a cozy atmosphere to relax.


Maybe for some people would feel the price offered is high enough. But for certain markets, with good taste, quality ingredients will certainly have the appropriate price to be issued. In addition, the concept brought by Chef Marinka is quite unique and provides a positive for the health living style.
