The Park Lane Jakarta, Tebet, Jakarta Selatan

Available in Bahasa: Click Here

In the month of Ramadan is not only the about event or promotions breaking the fast. Last Sunday 30th May 2017, I just attended one of the events organized by a 5 star hotel which long enough to operate in Jakarta, located in South Jakarta area.

The Park Lane Jakarta, a luxury hotel with the face of a new lobby is so elegant. My first impression of the large lobby and spacious and beautiful interior starting from the floor, reception desk, sofas and stairs are so interesting.

The event this time was introducing a new look lobby The Park Lane Jakarta which was attended by several media. Here, Mr. Darrel Cartwright as General Manager was presented to explains the concept of this new lobby. He said that The Park Lane Hotel Jakarta is dedicated to providing a different and comfortable experience for guests.

The importance of a lobby with an interesting concept will certainly be part of the experience of guests during the stay at the hotel. First impression on the hotel is the lobby when they just arrived. Mr. Darrel said "When a guest stays in a hotel, lobby is the first and last thing they will experience".

The concept of this lobby is called "Water Ripple" which has a pure state of mind, pure lucidity and mentality, generated by the absence of ego or inner limitations.

With dark green marble floors that provide a cool atmosphere, then, the most interesting part of the receptionist with a background that resembles the ripple of water and reflected to the floor like a mirror and very beautiful if photographed from caught.

Inaugurated by tumpeng cutting, this event went smoothly and did not forget the charity donation program with the sale of Teddy Bear for Care which aims to support Anyo Indonesia foundation that helps children with cancer.

Funds collected amounting to Rp 29,600,000 was presented symbolically and after that, we continue the event with breaking fast at Cafe One Asian Restaurant. The hotel restaurant has considerable space and there is an outdoor section with several food outlets. The menu is quite a lot with a wide selection from Asia.

Unfortunately since I have events elsewhere, so did not have time to break the fast together at here. Just as information, as a 5 star hotel, The Park Lane Jakarta certainly offers a memorable stay experience. Whether for business or leisure travel, The Park Lane Jakarta will be an good choice with warm reception and friendly service.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor.
