Available in Bahasa: Click Here

Thought about Indonesian food, it is sure no doubt, this country has many kind of food those are uncountable. As a fan of Indonesian food, of course i do visit many Indonesian restaurant often.

Piring Emas is new spot recommended for enjoy various of Indonesian food. My visit this time during dinner where it was quite crowded by customers. I do amazed with the interior though. It has bright beautiful color with flowers decoration and there's a stunning plate in gold color decoration the walls.

They do offering various of Indonesian food from some of regions. I assure you most of all food does familiar for us. Without took a long time, i do have my order some dishes for my dinner this evening.

We may enjoy soto (typical Indonesian soup with spices), ketoprak (mixed vegetables with peanut sauce), tahu telor (fried beancurd mixed with egg) or even beef ribs. Some of foods does impressed me like soto lamongan with fresh scent, tasty and good, this is really perfect to enjoy while it warm.

Indeed, there's bunch of dishes not suit my taste enough and mostly problem with the quality of ingredients like the soto daging and beef ribs. I found out these two has not tender enough and tough even though i can tell it has good seasoning.

What i recommended is the ketoprak with various of fresh vegetables poured by peanut sauce and sure it is a huge plate for a person. There also a fried banana with crunchy texture outside and absolutely sweet tatse of banana inside melted in my mouth.

They do offered quite reasonable price, if think about standard of restaurant located inside a shopping mall. With friendly service i may say, even though somehow staff seems overwhelmed when fulled of the customers. For you who love Indonesian food, this place may be on your list though to have dining with family or some friends.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There
