Available in Bahasa: Click Here

New Restaurant in Jakarta! Just as you know, Pantai Indah Kapuk is where many restaurant or cafe are available. Normally during weekend, this place is super crowded. So Darin is new restaurant with Korean style and i may say this is categorized in fusion restaurant.

With quite huge building and looks interesting, it shouldn't be hard to find this place since there's a huge signage and colorful. This time, i visited here with some foodies in town for welcoming grand opening of this restaurant. I noticed there's a bunch of flowers and greeting signage at front of restaurant.

Come inside the restaurant, i immediately impressed with the interior looks beautiful and comfortable. They have a nice bright colorful wall decorating all around the restaurant. And it has quite huge space, i think might fit about 40-50 persons.

Darin offering many of Korean modern dishes that has been trending in town nowadays. Normally we may found many Korean restaurant with authentic or original Korean food, but in here we may taste a Korean ood in different way.

Most of all foods are served in huge portion for a person and of course it does looks tempting alot. One of my favorite is Tangsuyuk, a fried pork served with thick sweet sauce consisted a veggies. It is little crunchy, pork has good texture and sauce give a very nice scent of taste.

Then it has Yusanseul, Korean style braised noodles with many ingredients in very thick sauce. Served on huge plate and it has good aroma. Noodles has nice firm texture and sauce is really taste good melting in my mouth.

At Darin is available many dishes with interesting variant of ingredients in Korean style. But indeed, as a food blogger i have been taste many kind of Korean food in many places. In here, i think Darin is serve a quite different style and taste of Korean food with the others.

We may found many Korean food is plain or less seasoning. Commonly, they have salty, sour or spicy seasoning on their food. But in Darin, i tend to be taste a tasty and very well seasoning on foods just similar with typical of Chinese food. But i can tell you they do served a good real food. Other than thay, they have a comfortable nice place, i could spend a quite time to enjoy my lunch at there.

They offering quite reasonable price, with good taste of food, more that, it served on huge plate of serving. For you food lover, this place is a must try to go, it could another choice for enjoying a Korean cuisine.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
