This event is held at Union Jakarta which is certainly well known to the society of Jakarta. Restaurant with European dining concept filled by classic interior, french country with dominant dark colors that give a touch of elegance. The room is quite spacious and overlooking the outdoor section provides a quite different atmosphere.
In this event there are several cooking stations that will be used by the Iron Chef for live cooking. At dinner time, it looks so crowded and enthusiastic visitors wait for the Iron Chef is in action. Each Iron Chef will present each one different menu. Starting from the first dish presented by Chef Chris Salans Pan-Seared Foie Gras with Belimbing (Star Fruit) Wuluh and Sweet & Sour Broth. A seductive presentation with a beautiful plating, the fragrant foie gras aroma has a melted texture combined with a fresh belimbing wuluh flavor and an sour sauce enhancing appetite.
The second menu is presented by Chef Adhika Maxi, Coconut Crusted Filet Mignon with coconut Rice and Coconut Supreme Chili. No less beautiful, a combination of elements and colors that blend beautifully. The bright red filet mignon slices, tender and savory, are served with savory green rice and grated coconut on top.
Dishes are not less interesting, served by Chef Sezai Zorlu is Sultan Lamb Shank with Salt Crust, Pine Nuts, Almond Exotic Rice and lemon dry chili sauce. Serving large lamb shank in a unique way, this delicious and tasty piece of meat is delicious to taste along with Turkish-style rice with powerful herbs and spices also the sauces served separately. Each element produces the perfect combination when eaten together.
Dinner will certainly be perfect when it ends with a sweet and fresh dessert. A well-known cake specialist in Jakarta, Chef Karen Carlotta also presents a pastry menu that is Ice Kelapa Muda & Kopyor Cake. From the name is certainly obviously the main ingredients of this cake is coconut, cake with beautiful colors and layers that are so tempting. The taste of the coconut plays a fresh flavor. Sponge cake is soft like a classic cake and not too sweet.
