 Still about the coffee shop that has been trending in town. Of course Jakarta as the capital city made the young generation tend to go to coffee shop for many times, especially during weekend.

PIK or Pantai Indah Kapuk has become one of spot you must explore in Jakarta. With uncountable restaurant, cafe or coffee shop number mad this area tend to be crowded by people. JUst like at the coffee shop that has been opened recently at PIK Avenue shopping mall.



It is located at the front of mall lobby where making this coffee shop really stand out with the clearly huge signage name board on top. Just as i mention before, this coffee shop sure was really crowded during my visit this time. Because won't spend too much time, so i decided to took a seat at the bar corner, unless i need to wait about 30mins until a hour.


This coffee shop has been popular in other countries like in Sydney where it came from, across to the United State and even some of Asia. Coffee shop was totally fulled by a customers, i could heard a noisy and loud voice around the coffee shop, without care so much, i just think about to prepare my camera to take an interior of coffee shop.


Available with beautiful dark color of couches gave a nice elegant touch. Then it has tall shelves on wall with various of coffee beans packaged and plant decoration. At another side has a signage with Toby's Estate written those really pull out this brand.


On bar station, i noticed there's a bunch of coffee beans in different kind those been use in this coffee shop. There also has some of plant decoration that gave a nice green touch to the interior.

Other than coffee, there's many coffee shop where offering a breakfast or brunch menu. Time before lunch has become one of trending activity nowadays. Therefore, not only coffee, customer would also be spoiled by various of modern western dishes that is interesting like salad, sandwich and eggs benedict.


My visit this time, apparently i've already had a lunch before. So i was just having a cup of coffee and glass of smoothies. Without took a long time, they sure able to served a drinks by quickly. As informed, Toby's Estate is offering an interesting coffee drink with different bean in certain day. This time, i was tring the Kalita, with guatalom bean that came from Guatemala. It has strong sour level, mild body and light bitterness.


Other than coffee, i was also try the non-coffee drink, that is smoothies, Green Power Mojito. Blended drink with thick liquid texture, green color that looks pale. It has fresh flavor that really suit for hot weather.

Only, i think they are offer a quite high price for a cup of coffee. Especially, let we think about other local coffee shops where they also able to served a nice similar of coffee. But with famous brand that has been experienced, surely for you coffee lover, this would be a nice experience or choice for hang out with some mates while enjoy good coffee or even brunch.

Monogram Bistro, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta

Bahasa l English Almost every month we find new restaurants all over Jakarta. This time i visited Kelapa Gading area which i rarely explore. Monogram is one of the most trending cafes currently operating here. It does not take long to attract the attention of foodies in Jakarta and certainly other culinary enthusiasts. From the outside it looks magnificent with a big signboard that clearly shows the writing of Monogram. While there is a second floor which is a karaoke area with a different brand. Phoenix Gastrobar, a new concept presented by HWG, is one of the newest brands by the pioneers in the restaurant, bar, and club industry today. Next to each other between the two clubs presented before, are Tiger & Dragon Bar. The concept offered at Phoenix is completely different from previous HWG outlets.
