2016 has been over and 2017 is here! At the New Year Eve, many people were busy going on their function of celebration or party. As me, I went to the New Year Eve celebration at one of famous Skydining spot around Central Jakarta. Salt Grill is one of exclusive restaurant spotted high on building where we could enjoy the incredible view of Jakarta icon from up here.
2016 has been over and 2017 is here! At the New Year Eve, many people were busy going on their function of celebration or party. As me, I went to the New Year Eve celebration at one of famous Skydining spot around Central Jakarta. Salt Grill is one of exclusive restaurant spotted high on building where we could enjoy the incredible view of Jakarta icon from up here.
I was touch down there around evening after dinner, and
actually I am going to have late dinner at there. Seems many people have been
gathered at there to celebrate the special new year eve moment. And I saw there’s
a thousands of people down there at the Bundaran HI and also a long car
gridlock through the street.
In this event, they are offering a special set menu
consisted 5 courses. For extra treat, you may get it with wine pairing too, but
of course another fee for it. Lucky for
me, I got a seat just right next to the window where I could enjoyed dinner and
view the stunning scenery of Bundaran HI. Lights, and fireworks are spreading
around, from far to close distances.
Salt Grill is offering various of Modern Australian food
combine with local ingredients and created a creative fusion food. Luke Mangan
as the experienced restaurateur sure
bring the great ambiance to this restaurant. With luxury concept, service and
amazing food as well.
Each food has such a beautiful presentation, perfection and
ingredients. It does blow up the high standard concept of dining. I found out
about the taste, it sure undoubtful. All
ingredients could blended well done in
one plate and served in beautiful colors & elements.
Start from the Amuse was a tuna carpaccio, served with
ginger & eschallot dressing, it sure looks beautiful and balanced color of
ingredients. It is fresh and I just love the combination. Continue with Prawn
preserved lemon ravioli, served on corn puree and topped by capsicum vierge.
I think they do
served quite huge plate of dish which is I almost get fulled on 4th
dishes main course. A slices of wagyu sirloin does looks tempting, but indeed I
couldn’t finished it. It has perfect tender texture, good seasoning and nicely
served with cauliflower custard & sauce bordelaise.
Don’t forget I also enjoyed the lovely dessert served
in good presentation, the classic cheesecake with passionfruit flavor,
decorated with sheep’s yoghurt along with raspberry sorbet. I assure you this
is amazing. A moist cheesecake blended with passionfruit flavor give a fresh
scent and perfect mixed with the raspberry sorbet taste cold and
delightful.
After all dishes, just left about 15 minutes to over the
year. Everyone seems have a lot of enthusiasm to welcome the new year.
Fireworks won’t stop blowing and spreading around the sky from the edge to the
corner of city. I could see the amazing view from the glass window and
everybody start counting till the last second of 2016.
The happiness of this festive sure does reach all people at
there. Everyones dancing and smile welcoming the new year 2017. A new
refreshment, journey or story should come out for this year to be better. Never
stop for hope and keep going on effort to reach our life goals.
