So for you who haven’t familiar with this yet, Fusion food is a specific category of culinary mixed by culture or style from two different countries. We could find in town there so many opened fusion restaurant with modern and fancy concept.

Happy Hana is casual fancy restaurant spotted around Central Jakarta. This place sure looks eye catching with fancy brand logo. They are specialist of Rice Bowl. As we know rice bowl is one of food that come from Japan. But in Jakarta, we may found many rice bowl menu are using typical Indonesian or Asian food ingredients.

Something unique in this place is they have a cool photo spot with upside down theme. You would see many stuff on opposite position hang on wall or ceiling. It also one of happening trend, not only in Jakarta but also some other cities. This is sure attracted many customers to take a picture.

Happy Hana is offering various kind of rice bowl with different topping or ingredients. It is built in mixed Japanese, Indonesian and Asian Concept. We may found gyudon, sambal matah, or sweet and sour chicken.

As we know, fusion is mixed between two kind of food culture into new food creation. Every fusion food has different kind of taste and presentation. I found out in here, they do serve good real food. Not just about modern or trend, but they do serve quality too.

Each rice bowl has different topping, but mostly suits with our Indonesian tongue I think. My favorite should be the Beef Tongue which is has nice texture and perfect seasoning. It does tasty and good especially with the rice.

The Sambal Matah Fish also good, spicy and tasty sambal matah sure buzzed my appetite. Only the fish meat could have been better, I think it is too dry somehow. Other good thing here, they do offering food with absolutely good price.

You don’t have to worry to spend, as the owner also active as a food blogger, they do understand not only the food business but also the customer needs. They try to give an ambiance and experience that could be enjoyed by many people out there.

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
