Talking about Japanese food, I may tell another recommendation spot for you to visit. Not only about Ramen or Sushi, Japanese food also available with various of dish using seafood ingredients. Just like in Keyaki, Japanese restaurant with all you can eat concept. It is located at Sari Pan Pacific Hotel, Central Jakarta.

As heard, this hotel has been standing since long time ago, and I noticed there’s a classic interior and ambiance inside the hotel. Normally, Japanese restaurant built in wooden interior with bright color. But in here, most of all furniture are using wood, but in dark color. A classic Japanese ambiance sure really strong and there’s available with few private rooms with beautiful Japanese decoration.

During lunch time, it sure quite a lot of customers are coming. Buffet consisted by various of Japanese foods start from salad, soup, sushi, sashimi, fried until grilled. Each section sure looks interesting and tempting a lot. My favorite part should be the sashimi, which is all served by fresh ingredients and perfect cut. I used to go to hotel buffet dining and somehow I found they served sushi or sashimi not in good condition, it could have a smell or awful texture sometime.

But in Keyaki, I can assure you they do served a good quality of food. Another interesting section here is the seafood grill. It is where we could watch the chef doing fire stuff with various of seafood we may choose. There’s a prawn, squids, also clam as well. All seafood grilled well done, but somehow it is underseasoning and I notice the clam not fresh enough.

Another section, there’s have a main course too with rice and various of dishes like braised beef and many kind of fried meals. I can tell, for this section it doesn’t have many kind of variety which is most dish are fried and there’s no any veggies except fried long bean, carrot and onion.

I do recommended this restaurant since they are specialist in authentic Japanese food and they do served good real food. Most buffet dining is served many kind of food but they do not aware much about the consistency of taste, somehow under seasoning or bad ingredients quality even for some 5 stars hotels.

But in Keyaki, honestly I am true satisfy with it foods. Most all served in very good seasoning and nice taste. Only one thing made me bit upset is the hospitality. I just felt the staff were not welcoming the customer good enough, no friendly smile or any proper treat to ask customer waiting outside. I just expected as an exclusive buffet restaurant, they should have high standard of serving the customer as well since we realized they are specialized in restaurant business.

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor.
