Not only in Jakarta, just like a cosey island, Belitung, also don't missed this trend too. Sate Banditz actually just been grand opening a few days ago. Built in japanese concept with beautiful interior which is it couldn't resist us to take a picture.
When get in to this restaurant, i did not expected they have such a instagramable interior which is really interesting. A strong Japanese ambiance with bunch of arts painting on wall and the most gorgeous part is the flowers accessories covered up the ceiling.
As the name, sure i am here to enjoy various of skewers with different kind of seasoning. Actually, so far they only offer the chicken. But as i heard, it would be available beef as well. But don't worry, we may enjoy the shrimp skewer which is my favorite, Don't forget i did take some photo of preparation moment at front of restaurant.T
While taking picture, of course the flavor of grilled meat approached me alot. The grilled chicken skewer spreaded by special sauces seems really tempting.
With concept like this, surely it doesn't need much time to prepare for the food. Only took short time, i already could enjoy my order, a skewers with various of differnt sauces. There's a chicken, shrimp and fish skewer as well which is quite unique.
Other than skewers, we may also enjoy the Otak-Otak or you may call it fish cake. But in different shape, typical food in this island. It made of fresh fish with delicate texture and served along with vinegar chili sauce.
There also have Cingkong or you may call it Surimi in Japanese. But quite diffferent though. This one is exactly in crab shape and it using real crab meat. Only it getting fried while we know surimi is not fried. It has crunchy crab meat give a different sensation to enjoy the seafood. So for you who is planned to visit Belitung island, among seafood or noodles, you might want to visti this one too. Hang out with some mates while enjoy the grilled skewer should be perfect idea.
i am a big food enthusiast and i love a little insight that you have just given. i love the traditional look the interior depicts. definitely a good place to have lunch with some friends
