BUNK Lobby Lounge, Pullman Central Park, West Jakarta

 Another event i have been attend last month was a Rum Cocktail Tasting at Bunk Lobby where it is spotted at Pullman Hotel, Central Park. I am sure excited for this and it has been my honor to be a guest.

Actually this is not my first time been visited Bunk Lobby, as i know this lounge sure has beautiful interior with some arts and colorful theme all around the room. It also has second floor where we could get better ambiance i guess from up there. 


In this event, Bunk Lobby is going to introduce a new drinks with cool equipment from Australia, Uber Bar Tools and it is going to be demonstrated by experienced mixologist & bartender, Kiki Moka. As i heard, he has been run in this field since long time ago. Also he has been travelling around the world exploring various of cocktail ingredients and of course gains some skill technique.

Without wasting time, i am sure excited to try all drinks they have. First drink come out is the TradersVic MaiTai. This cocktail is consisted by mixed Plantation Dark Rum, Campari, Pineapple and Lime. I found out it has really nice flavor, fresh of fruits sure is up here and blended well done with the rum.


Another delicate cocktail here is Jack Qri. This cocktail is made of Plantation Tri Star, Apricot Liquer, Jack Fruit and Lime. Basically the star of ingredient here is the Plantation Rum which is one of best rum based to create various of tropical cocktail. Same as Maitai, Jack qri also has really fresh flavor but bit lighter rum in it, the jack fruit sure gave a nice sense. 


The last cocktail i had here is Soursop Colada. I think this is absolutely unique. After Jack fruit, we have soursop here. But i found out it is quite bitter than previous two cocktails. Other than cocktails, we were also offered by various of lovely canape. One of my favorite is the Braised Scallop.


Absolutely tasty and perfect texture. Just being honest, i even eat bunch of it. Then i have Mini Vietnamese Spring Roll, Beef Ball and Risotto. And the best thing here, all free flow! What a brilliant.

Overall, i must say i do really enjoyed spending quite time at here. With great ambiance, nice couch and perfect cocktails, i am sure you won't go home quickly. Bunk Lobby Lounge sure giving the great perfection service to fulfilled guests need.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. Monogram Bistro, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta

Bahasa l English Almost every month we find new restaurants all over Jakarta. This time i visited Kelapa Gading area which i rarely explore. Monogram is one of the most trending cafes currently operating here. It does not take long to attract the attention of foodies in Jakarta and certainly other culinary enthusiasts. From the outside it looks magnificent with a big signboard that clearly shows the writing of Monogram. While there is a second floor which is a karaoke area with a different brand. Monogram presents a modern concept with dominant dark colors that give a touch of elegance.
