Osakamaru, Lippo Mall Puri, West Jakarta

Another recommendation Japanese spot is at Lippo Mall Puri, this mall recently also been happening in town with huge building they got though. Well, i do like the way to this place where traffic not so awful than others.

Osakamaru is spotted at outside area where you could find some of restaurant out there. This restaurant have two level, with japanese concept, dark wooden color and bunch of japanese decoration.

It has a beautiful treen at the center with some lights. It just feel you come inside the garden with japanese style. Then look at the top ceiling, it has many beautiful umbrellas in colorful paintings. Also don't missed the shelf with various of Japanese alcohol drinks set nicely at front.

Talking about food, i guess most of you should be familiar with sushi. For better price, so i ordered the Sushi Platter which is the long plate with various of sushi consisted by Cheese Roll, California Roll, Gunkan Sushi, Kani Tobiko Maki, and nigiri.

Overall i did enjoyed these. Each sushi made well done with balanced texture and taste. Most of all have good shape, not talking about size but in here you should be satisfied with the quality of sushi.

Another dish i had here is Nabeyaki Udon. The warm udon in noodle soup with flavoured broth. It served along with chicken, vegetables, mushroom and tempura.

I love this one too, soup has clear taste and balanced seasoning. Udon could have been softer but i take this is fine. All ingredients sure gave a fresh feeling and taste.

Not to forget, the opening of several new restaurants has also colored the city of Jakarta recently. One of them is August, which is located in the Sudirman area, more precisely at Sequis Tower. This restaurant has opened on November 25th, 2021. The elegant and premium concept can be seen from the exterior and interior of the restaurant. The area is quite spacious with a charming bar in the front room, then an open kitchen which provides an interesting experience for guests to see the activities of the chefs in the lively kitchen. On weekends, you can see the number of guests filling the entire table, it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance . When I had dinner there, they happened to have no available alcohol because they were taking care of licensing and distribution issues. So I brought wine with a corkage fee of IDR 250,000

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
