SOHO, Grand Indonesia, Central Jakarta

Telling about Grand Indonesia, it would never enough about restaurant and eateries here. One of famous spot is SOHO (Social House) it is where many youth and excecutive hang out with some mates for dining or just enjoy moment by luxury wine.

It is located at 1st floor East Mall. From outside this place sure looks insteresting, with classic western wooden concept and there's a tall desk fulled with various kind of wine. It is better for you to make a reservation before since normally quite many customers during dinner time.

First for starter i ordered Cobb Salad. A classic caesar salad with cut of chicken and turkey. It is huge plate of salad fulled with vegies and chicken cubes. All taste fresh but just too salty, it is like everything covered up by salt.

Then i have a Barramundi Oven Roasted. Long plate of roasted barramundi fish served along with the mussels and mushroom.

I quite like it, crispy skin and well done seasoning. Only fish meat kind of too dry but it is fine. Mussels also tasty with mushroom. I do recommended this. Then i have a Classic Warm Apple Crumble.

A slice of lovely cake based on baked apples, it is nice balanced sweet and sour. But i guess it is not good choice to be dessert after had heavy meals.

Almost forgot, i also have Nuttela Milkshake.

Delightful milkshake with rich a creamy flavor. I am sure this one has been favorite choice based on some reviewers app.

Overall, i think this place is quite worth it when you want to have a pleasure exclusive or romantic dining with your mate. Nice interior with romantic lights also there's a love music to be enjoyed during dining.

One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. Monogram Bistro, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta

Bahasa l English Almost every month we find new restaurants all over Jakarta. This time i visited Kelapa Gading area which i rarely explore. Monogram is one of the most trending cafes currently operating here. It does not take long to attract the attention of foodies in Jakarta and certainly other culinary enthusiasts. From the outside it looks magnificent with a big signboard that clearly shows the writing of Monogram. While there is a second floor which is a karaoke area with a different brand. Monogram presents a modern concept with dominant dark colors that give a touch of elegance.
