Finally, after a long time in the pandemic, View Restaurant
is open again with a new menu concept and also a new chef. For Jakarta's
society, of course, you already know that this restaurant is located at Fairmont
Jakarta, 22nd floor. This restaurant is open for dinner from 6.00 pm. This
preview event also introduces a new Head Chef named Hugo Bertolini. With a
fairly well-established experience in 5-star hotels, of course, his expertise
cannot be doubted.
Once again I explain, with a location on the 22nd floor,
this restaurant provides an enchanting view of the Senayan area. The elegant
interior concept with a touch of dark colors and dim lights provides an
exclusive atmosphere. With the name steak bar, View not only serves a variety
of steaks but also a wide selection of modern dishes with a Latin American
twist.
In this preview event, some of the menus that I tried were
really interesting, such as the Slow Charred Octopus (IDR 155,000), an octopus dish with a
creamy, fresh green sauce and a distinctive peppery aroma. Grilled Scallops (IDR 175,000) with green apple, chili birds eye, jalapeno sauce so that it gives a harmonious,
sour, fresh, spicy taste in one dish. Then there's Spicy Prawn In Their Heads (IDR 175,000),
sounds interesting. The prawns are cooked together with herbs and
spices to make it like an Indian dish complete with soft naan bread.
Blue Crab Tartare (IDR 165,000) is also an interesting snack to try.
Served with crispy layers, soft crab preparations with togarashi sauce to give it
a fresh taste. Or favorite Latin dishes like Red Snapper Crudo (IDR 110,000), sliced fresh
fish served with ponzu, lemon oil, and coriander dress. Perfect snapper texture,
fresh and sour taste that increases appetite.
The main dish that must be tried is the Tomahawk 1000 gr (IDR 1,900,000),
the appearance is tempting and ready to pamper the palate. Simple meat that has
gone through the process of 28 days dry-aged, fragrant smoky aroma. The texture
of the meat is super tender and the aroma of quality meat choice. You can
enjoy it along with various choices of sauces with additional costs such as
Beef Jus, Chili Sauce, Chimichurri Cuyano, Green Peppercorn, and Black Truffle.
Honestly, without the sauce, the steak is already delicious and really mouth-watering.
Never
forget the various desserts, dishes like Chocolate Orange Smores Pie (IDR 70,000) are my
favorite as a chocolate lover. The top layer with marshmallows that have a
distinctive texture, then a layer of soft and legit chocolate mousse pie
combined with Whiskey chocolate sauce is really fun. Don't miss trying a
variety of unique and delicious cocktails, Richard Charles is one of the
mixologists who enjoys being creative using food ingredients into cocktails so
that each drink has a different character and provides a different experience.
The price offered is in accordance with the standards of a
specialist restaurant in a 5-star hotel. In addition, the services offered also
follow international standards. Not to forget that all dishes are made with
premium and quality ingredients in accordance with Jakarta's high-end market.
This restaurant will certainly be perfect for romantic dining, even hang-out
special events with friends and family. Interesting right?!
