Ramadan in this second week i had the opportunity to visit a very fascinating Middle Eastern restaurant. Warung Turki is located in Kemang area, South Jakarta. From the outside, looks a unique building with a design that looks different from the restaurant in general. Once inside, we will see a large wood-fire oven used to make a typical Middle Eastern bread. Then look also the kitchen area is neat and of course with the aroma of processed foods that tempting.

Climbed to the second floor, we will be greeted with a view of the restaurant interior is super beautiful. The colorful elements in the overall room and typical Middle Eastern style greatly provide a different atmosphere than any other restaurant. There is also a third floor which offers a different ambiance as well. Complete with bar, tree decor at some point gives a beautiful touch. Then there is also a glass room located on the end so facing the highway with a comfortable sofa.
In this month of Ramadan visitors will be pampered with buffet dining that serves authentic Turkish dishes. One of them is Lamb Baked in Salt, a lamb meat wrapped in salt that makes dough in shape and looks solid. Typical lamb flavor with the fragrant aroma of spices and tasty meat testings is very delicious.
Another impressive menu is Lamb Yayla Kebab, a typical Middle Eastern dish that is one of my favorite. Processed minced lamb combined with savory flavor and served with garlic sauce yogurt that gives the balance of flavor.
In addition you are also have to taste a typical Middle Eastern dessert with a sweet taste that is perfect for breaking the fast moment. One such as Baklava, processed filo dough that form a crisp layer and then made along with peanuts and sweet milk. The interesting and soft tapestries inside make this baklava loved very much in demand.
Breaking the fast at Warung Turki is the perfect moment in this month of Ramadan. Culinary experience typical of the Middle Eastern certainly fits perfectly with the theme of breaking the fast. Authentic menu and super-fresh restaurant atmosphere is very comfortable.
