Chả Cá Thăng Long, Hanoi, Vietnam

Available in Bahasa: Click Here

Holiday to Hanoi can be one of the fun destination. City in Southeast Asia is quite much visited by tourists from various countries. With ancient city architecture and unique culture, then the life of Hanoi society that looks busy is quite similar to the city of Jakarta.
This time I wanted to share my experience of enjoying one of the famous restaurant for both locals and tourists. Chả Cá Thăng Long, This is a typical Vietnamese food name and eatery worth to go if visiting Hanoi. It is not hard to find this restaurant where everyone including taxi drivers are very familiar with this place.
A simple restaurant with a name appropriate to its specialized food Chả Cá Thăng Long is a pretty busy destination for foreign tourists. No need to worry not able to speak local language, because they also provide menu in English. Some staff also speak little English although need to hear several times to understand.
Without a long time, the menu that must be ordered of course is Chả Cá Thăng Long which became the mainstay menu of this restaurant. Fish with a vietnamese cooking style, some distinctive spices and herbs such as dill which is a plant with a unique aroma. The fish was previously marinated with yellow yellow with a strong turmeric aroma then the visitors will be served with a stove on each table and the staff will cook in front of us.
Hot oil in the frying pan is ready, fish ready to put in with dill prepared. The distinctive aroma is really tempting and the juicy-looking fish permeated the spices well. Once cooked, the dish is ready to be enjoyed along with a variety of side dishes that have been prepared such as rice noodle, peanuts, chili, and fish sauce. Soft fish with savory herbs combined with very many vegetables provide a fresh flavor. Coupled with rice noodle that is really soft and sweet taste.
The price offered is very affordable, can be very cheap. Although a simple restaurant with a service that can be spelled out just fine or not friendly enough, Chả Cá Thăng Long presented is certainly satisfying and indeed deserves to be one of the culinary spot that worth it to be visited in Hanoi.
