Toridoll Yakitori, Gandaria City, South Jakarta

As we know, it has many Japanese restaurant in town nowadays including Yakitori spot where you could have various of skewers in Japanese style. I recommeded one of spot that you would like to visit around South Jakarta. At the ground floor if i do not mistaken, there's a bunch of restaurant along the way. And you could see a huge space of Japanese restaurant with top of signage, Toridoll Yakitori.

As seen on reviewers site, this one has a good rating though. Most people said they have good yakitori also some side dish as well. So i decided to have my dinner here. It has typical Japanese interior with bright wooden color and that evening was quiet many customers coming and i saw some of Japanese foreigners seems enjoyed this restaurant very much.

Do not forget it also has charging plug every seat so you do not have to worry low phone battery. They have nice service and took order quiet fast. Actually not so many menu here, most of all are yakitori, we could order some set of yakitori. Then it has omurice and Japanese pasta.

As their specialized, so i order sample set-9 of yakitori, but too bad some of meat choice are not available like crispy chicken skin. I guess that is one of favorite here. Then i also change some choice like liver and chicken gizzard. The rest are chicken thigh, wings, beef, minced chicken and salmon.

I found out they made a good yakitori actually. anyway you could requested for the grilled pot which is would touch up your photo while taking some yakitori pictures. Each skewers has tasty seasoning, seems like it has been marinated before touch the grill. Only the beef is quite tight, not tender enough. Overall is fine. Then it also served along with some japanese sauce which give some more flavor into foods.

Next dish i have was a Omusoba. It is a Omelette Chicken Yakisoba. By seen, it looks stunning and tempting alot. Omelette such in a beautiful yellow color and when it slashed, we may found a bunch of soba in thick sauce then along with slices of chicken.

Different with the yakitori taste, this one has sweet thick flavor, it feels like all melted in your mouth together in one bite. As not sweetness fan, i think this one is good though. but for me, i did not take it too much since i do much prefer salty.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors

Monogram Bistro, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta

Bahasa l English Almost every month we find new restaurants all over Jakarta. This time i visited Kelapa Gading area which i rarely explore. Monogram is one of the most trending cafes currently operating here. It does not take long to attract the attention of foodies in Jakarta and certainly other culinary enthusiasts. From the outside it looks magnificent with a big signboard that clearly shows the writing of Monogram. While there is a second floor which is a karaoke area with a different brand. Monogram presents a modern concept with dominant dark colors that give a touch of elegance. A large area complete with a beautiful bar and there is a private space decorated with colorful paintings look instagramable. The menu concept offered is a modern theme that is currently trending in Jakarta society.
