Ippeke Komachi, Mall Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta

Been a while i do not write on here, since many stuff i have been doing also news for all of you i run up my own business now and of course still in food territory. Please kindly check on Instagram @Yoze.id to find post of what i have been doing. Now i would like to mention about one Japanese restaurant around North Jakarta where i rarely visit though. But since that weekend i was having a business around, so i decided to stopped by at Mall Kelapa Gading.

Since i am afraid about gridlock during weekend, i was going there at the afternoon, as expected it was much easier to get space at parking lot. After done some business until i forgot having properly lunch, so i planned to have some late lunch, but as Pokemon Go been trending these time, i did sure exploring pokestop before around the mall where i could see many teenagers also hanging around by doing their phone as well.

Ippeke Komachi, as seen on reviewers blog, this one sounds good though. They are built in wooden Japanese concept with sushi bar also Teppanyaki base.

They are famous by various of sushi and sashimi dishes. Since i was very starved alot, so let's start with first dish was a beautiful Oyako. Gorgeous salmon slices topped with stunning salmon roe.

I am sure love this one. Fresh salmon with tender and juicy texture and salmon roe absolutely happiness. Great bites with glorious taste once it bitten. Then i have another great sushi is Unagi. Grilled eel topped on rice.

As expected this is one of favorite dish in here. Unagi absolutely cooked well done with great seasoning. As you may look at the stunning brown color, it also have good texture as well. Next sushi was a one of familiar dish we ever seen in town is Aburi Salmon. Cooked well done salmon spreaded with mayo sauce and topped on rice.

I am not fan of mayo sauce but since salmon has really good taste, i also recommended for this one. Perfect texture and still kind of juice meat absolutely glorious. One thing i should mention here is Ippeke Komachi sure have good standard of sushi as you may see tiny bunch of rice sure covered by the toppings. I heard this is proper sushi how it is done. Then i have Tako. As we know this octopus.

Not fascinating as previous one, but this one good as well. Tako has good tenderness and fresh. Just nothing much seasoning here but as tako lover, you should try this too. And the last sushi was a Hoki Gai. A Beautiful surf clam sushi. It has beautiful white color blending with red color.

This one sure recommended too. Most of sushi are great but this one is amazing. I feel much freshness here with perfect texture. What satisfying is they are keeping consistency while serving sushi. Another dish other thna sushi i also had a Zaru Soba. Cold plain soba served along with soy sauce or tsuyu. It just fine, but i take it good though. Soba has nice texture and balanced cold also tsuyu does give a good ambience.

Overall, i am sure recommended for this restaurant. They sure served good consistency and balanced of sushi also prepared a good freshness ingredients. I couldn't say this is much save cost restaurant since most of sushi spot sure have their standard. But i assure you this is place is worth it than the other one.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
