Taste of Malaysia, Ibis Jakarta Tamarin

The first time I was invited to the launching of the Malaysia Food Festival in 2019. This time it took place at the Ibis Jakarta Tamarin hotel, with the aim of promoting Malaysian culinary specialties in Indonesia. The Taste of Malaysia takes place from 19th-31st August 2019. It was inaugurated directly by the Malaysian Ambassador of the Republic Indonesia, TYT Ambassador Zainal Abidin Bakar together with the General Manager of Ibis Jakarta Tamarin, Ya'kob Zaini and Director of Tourism Malaysia, Roslam Othman.

Indonesian and Malaysia do have a close relationship in both culture and culinary. TYT Ambassador Zainal Abidin revealed that he hoped "Taste of Malaysia" this year could increase the arrival of Indonesian tourists to Malaysia and also tray various culinary delights in other cities in Malaysia.

The menu that can be enjoyed at Ibis Jakarta Tamarin is certainly diverse. Starting from Nasi Lemak, Sarawak Laksa, Ipo Hor Fun, Nasi Dagang, Penang Kway Teow, Canai Bread, Malacca Cendolnto typical Malaysian traditional dessert, Pulut Sambal, Talam Berlauk, Qasidah, Badur Cucur and many more.

Once again I want to inform you, The Taste of Malaysia takes place from 19th-31st August 2019 at Ibis Jakarta Tamarin. Hotel guests will be presented with a variety of typical Malaysian cuisines with good quality ingredients, of course. For buffet will be available on 24th & 31st August 2019 at a price IDR 150,000 net per person. Or you can have some ala carte menu like Nasi Lemak at IDR 55,000 net and Air Mata Kucing drink at IDR 35,000 net.

Bahasa l English Christmas is one of those moments where we can enjoy an elegant special dinner. At Christmas 2017 last year, I had the opportunity to visit one Michelin restaurant in Bangkok, Thailand. Chim by Siam Wisdom earns 1 Michelin star with an authentic Thai food concept. From the outside the restaurant looks like a house with dark brown wooden elements. Customer will be escorted to the second floor with ample dining area, dominant local feel, many Thai ornaments around the room. Here, i met Chef Noom who is the owner and manager of this restaurant. At a special Christmas event, they present a set of 6 menus ranging from amuse bouche to dessert. In accordance with the concept of fine dining, here is also offered a variety of wine options to accompany dinner. Once you see the menu listed, there are many names of foods that will be served with more than 10 types of names. It turns out each dish will be served with several types of menus with a one-bite portion of it.
