Bebek Tepi Sawah, Baywalk Mall, Pluit, West Jakarta

Talking about Indonesian food, Sure we would never stop finding it restaurant around town. Indonesian food is one my favorite though. I am sure much prefer it then western cuisines. One of famous spot in town is Bebek Tepi Sawah. Which we know this one is came from Bali actually at 1999. Since long time ago they have been famous at there.

Bebek=duck, Tepi Sawah= around rice field which is if you're go visit their original restaurant in Bali, it surrounding by the rice field where you may see bunch of duck circling around. At this time, Their brand from local dish has became one of exclusive dining around town even at this capital city as well. They has been spreading branches around city but keep maintained with their traditional concept.

One of spot we could visit in Jakarta is at Baywalk Mall. In here i saw a strong theme of Indonesian with many plants, rocks sculpture and some Indonesian arts also it accompanied by traditional Indonesia instrument music. Then all the waiters & waitress are wearing Bali attire whick is looks good.

Talking about the dish, sure the famous here is the fried duck. If you're first visit here, that is the first dish you going have to try. But since i had been here for several times in past, i am not going to have that. I'd like to taste the Bebek Betutu. It is roasted duck in betutu seasoning, it is Indonesia traditional spices mix.

Duck is super huge slice. I could see the whole long plate topped with giant cut of duck served along with sauteed long beans and white rice. Duck is having good texture, perfect seasoning, it is sure authentic taste. Then, long beans also cooked well done, even though it is a side dish, but it does great as well. Crunchy texture and nice seasoning. Another dish i have here is Sate Lilit Bali. Typical Bali Satay made from minced fish, it could be chicken too sometimes.

Lilit means wrap, which is meat is wrapped the sugar cane. It has nice texture, only bit salty. The good way to have this is using  the sambal (chili sauce) it balanced the taste. Don't forget about their sambal, they are serving some kinds of sambal. Each has different taste and spiciness, it could be sweet or salty but most of all is tasty.

Place has nice ambiance, service somehow missed communication and since i seated at the corner area where i find it quite hard to get the waiter also they are not really care enough the customer around. For price, i think it is high enough if you're planned to save budget. But what you pay is what you get. Huge plate of duck, i think it is worth it and might be good choice for special dining.
