This cafe is located in a shopping center which was hit by floods quite times ago. Yes, Taman Anggrek Mall had been shut down for approximately 2 weeks due to the effects of the flood disaster that submerged the basement area and the electricity generator was drowned. But fortunately with a professional team, so everything is back to normal quickly once they back on and all stores in the mall can operate.

The information from the So Fashion Cafe team was that they were quite overwhelmed at the time because they were unable to do any activities and all food items were damaged. To ensure conditions, I visited this cafe and tasting a number of their signature dishes. Yes, this cafe is covered in a bright pink color through the interior. The pink color is quite loved by the restaurant owner these lately in Jakarta because it is an attractive and instagramable color.

The area is quite spacious with some decorations that also carry the color of pink. The menu offered here is in the form of various international dishes from Western to Asian. This time I tried Beef Donburi (IDR 65K) a Japanese dish with a twist. White rice topped by slices of beef cuts, onion, bean sprout, leeks, seaweed so that the aroma was fragrant and the teriyaki sauce gave a savory taste.

There is also Salmon Don Teriyaki (IDR 75K) which is my favorite. In accordance with the appetite of the people of Jakarta, white rice with pieces of salmon doused with teriyaki sauce is the best seller and favorite. Salmon is cooked well done, the right texture, crunchy salmon skin and tender inside. In addition to rice dishes, there is also Steak & Egg (IDR 135K) yes combination among the beef steak with mushroom sauce, then sunny side and crispy hashbrown.

The overall taste of food at So Fashion Cafe does follow the Jakarta market. Each dish is tasty but not excessive. The general food here is quite familiar from rice, steak, pasta and do not forget the dessert, Strawberry Waffle (IDR 59K) beautiful appearance, pretty big waffle decorated with pink cream and some of the strawberries. This one is certainly an interesting photo to take.

Monogram is one of the most trending cafes currently operating here. It does not take long to attract the attention of foodies in Jakarta and certainly other culinary enthusiasts.
