Four Hands Collaboration, Jakarta

Bahasa l English

This week is a special moment where the Jakarta community has the opportunity to taste special dishes that will be served at Park Hyatt Jakarta, an upcoming luxury hotel project that will be operating in the central area of Jakarta. On the theme of the "Four Hands Collaboration" event where there are two main chefs at here, there is Chef Mauro Santarelli, Executive Sous Chef Grand Hyatt Jakarta and Chef Lucas Curcio, Executive Chef Park Hyatt Jakarta.

The Four Hands Collaboration aims to introduce several signature dishes that will be at Park Hyatt Jakarta and also to pamper guests when visiting C's Steak & Seafood Jakarta with a combination of two expert chefs who came from Argentina. With techniques and a combination of Asian influences, so some dishes are familiar and in accordance with the palate of Jakarta community.

Some special menus at Four Hands Collaboration this time such as Wagyu Beef Tataki, Glazed Beef Cheek, Chicken Catalunyan Style and many more. Simple Latin dishes like Tortillas turn into an amuse-bouche that enhances appetite. Soft texture and savory taste that balanced. Similarly, appetizers like local Burrata Cheese is really impressive. Creamy burrata cheese has a soft texture combined with fragrant truffle dressing and some crispy asparagus.

Glazed Beef Cheek was the most memorable dish for me in this Four Hands Collaboration. Since I'm not a fan of meat, at first, I wasn't very enthusiastic about tasting classic beef dishes with glazing sauce on top is pretty common. But once enjoying the first bite, this dish is truly amazing. Not only tender, but it is also soft and fragrant aroma. The taste is more balanced when enjoyed together with tomatoes compote then also served along with crispy polenta.

My chance to taste dishes at Four Hands Collaboration was truly memorable. You could say Park Hyatt with chef Lucas Curcio ready to pamper hotel guests with a variety of impressive dishes. For now, you can stop by at C's Steak & Seafood, Grand Hyatt Jakarta to have a sneak peek how amazing these cuisines from 17th-22nd Sept 2019 both lunch and dinner. This menu will be available in ala carte starting from IDR 75,000 ++ for a salad until IDR 450,000 ++ for wagyu beef. For those of you who can't wait to go to Park Hyatt Jakarta, this Four Hands Collaboration will be the right choice to break out curiosity and become a pleasant experience.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors ...

Real Ingredients of Japan, Sushi Maru, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English 2022 is here! Welcoming the new year with joy and enthusiasm. This time I will tell you about a Japanese restaurant in the Golf Island area, PIK which is currently one of the trending destinations in Jakarta. It is undeniable that Japanese cuisine has indeed become one of Jakarta's society's favorites, so many Japanese restaurants can be found here. As a lover of authentic food, I really prefer Japanese restaurants that prioritize quality ingredients and classic tastes, although the current twist food variant is also very interesting. Sushi Maru has been operating since the end of 2021, with a Japanese feel in general using a wooden theme interior throughout the area. There are two floors with a large area capacity. But keep in mind, you should make a reservation before coming here, especially on weekends. One of the top menus here is Japanese Oyster, especially Reiwa Oyster, this dish is only available upon request. With a size that is much larger than the lo...
