It was an honor for me to be able to meet with the chef Lin Luo and find out how him processing dishes with Hunan style. Some very memorable dishes such as Double Boiled Soup, a simple dish of tender beef with fragrant broth and the right flavor. Steamed Fish with Chili and Noodles was also very memorable to me, quite unique where the fish was served along with noodles which turns out to be Hunan specialty. Almost every dishes are used chili and pepper, so that in addition to providing not only a fragrant aroma but also a spicy. It is not an over spicy compare to Sichuan cuisines.

Dessert, Baked Glue Pudding in Rice Wine became the most beautiful dish that night. White tiny balls made of sago flour, then served in a dense sauce, a mixture of rice wine, some berries to provide the sour on a beautiful shell-shaped plate.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors ...

Bahasa l English 2022 is here! Welcoming the new year with joy and enthusiasm. This time I will tell you about a Japanese restaurant in the Golf Island area, PIK which is currently one of the trending destinations in Jakarta. It is undeniable that Japanese cuisine has indeed become one of Jakarta's society's favorites, so many Japanese restaurants can be found here. As a lover of authentic food, I really prefer Japanese restaurants that prioritize quality ingredients and classic tastes, although the current twist food variant is also very interesting. Sushi Maru has been operating since the end of 2021, with a Japanese feel in general using a wooden theme interior throughout the area. There are two floors with a large area capacity. But keep in mind, you should make a reservation before coming here, especially on weekends. One of the top menus here is Japanese Oyster, especially Reiwa Oyster, this dish is only available upon request. With a size that is much larger than the lo...
