 Green expanse, views of mountain, clean and cool air, that's the nuance that describes the resort that recently operated at the Puncak area, West Java. Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills is one of the recommended stay that is ready to give you a pleasant short getaway experience. My visit on the weekend was certainly marked by traffic jams which become a routine in this area with the open-closed road system for vehicles to the direction up to the peak and otherwise to Jakarta at certain time.

But it doesn's take long to drive compare to normal gridlock that we used to at Jakarta. My advice might be to go there early, it would be better. The resort is located in the Vimala Hills, an area of residential and villa. About 5 minutes go inside by car, you will arrive at this resort. Once inside, you will be greeted by staff who use unique attire safari-style uniform. Resort with typical Indonesian nuances, ornaments and a touch of art in several angles combine with modern concept. Besides that, along the lobby area of this hotel is very cool without even using a room cooler.

A room that I introduce here is the Pool Access Deluxe, room on the ground floor that can directly access the pool by a few walking distances. The room is very comfortable, quite spacious with a bathtub in the room, then a window overlooking the pool, a comfortable terrace area to relax surrounded by greenery is perfect for enjoying a fresh morning or quiet afternoon.

There are 3 swimming pools here, there is the main swimming pool that is more suitable for families, then adult pool which is close the bar and the infinity pool which directly face to the Mount Salak. It takes time to remember all the areas in this resort due to the vast location and many areas that connect with each other. For 5 star resort, of course equipped with quality gym and spa facilities.
For the restaurant currently, only three operate, as I heard it would be 2 more in further. "Damar" it is all-day dining with a very wide area, a blend of contemporary design, beautiful pattern in tiles, ceiling and I can say the food here is amazing, especially Indonesian cuisines served tastes delicious and authentic. Then Padi Pool Bar, which serves a variety of pizzas and an amazing view of Mount Salak, surrounded by green plants, swimming pool makes the restaurant even more comfortable. And Salak Bar as represented the mount Salak, it is a bar & lounge to relax while enjoying drinks and light meal.

Every corner in this resort made me very enthusiastic to take pictures. Resort design is indeed combined with contemporary art which is currently quite loved by users of social media to create content. And I do impress with the atmosphere of the resort which is calm, comfortable and cool, so it feels very good to stay here all day without to go anywhere. For Pool Access Deluxe room, the price starts from IDR 1,500,000++, a fair price for a 5-star resort, an especially international brand that does offer good standard services.
