Thai Street, Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta

Bahasa l English

Thai food is my favorite culinary choice. A variety of dishes that are familiar with sour and savory flavors are really delicious. Well this time i found an interesting Thai restaurant, Thai Street. It turns out that there are already several branches in Jakarta i.e. Citiwalk Sudirman, Plaza Senayan, Lippo Kemang and this is the first time i visited this restaurant at the Gandaria City branch. I visited here in the afternoon and saw a lot of visitors during that time.
So far, there are quite a lot of Thai restaurants in Jakarta, but not many offer the right authentic Thai flavors and affordable prices. Thai Street provides a different experience for visitors with a modern concept, colorful theme covering the entire restaurant room provide a bright atmosphere. A huge selection of Thai menus, from an appetizer to a Thai specialty dessert that is quite familiar to Jakarta society.

A menu that must be tried here like, Tom Yum Seafood. A dish that is already familiar with fresh seafood soup that is red with sour and spicy flavor which is quite thick and very delicious, enjoyed together with white rice. There is also Squid With Chili Rock Salted, a squid dish wrapped in flour, fried and combined with a mixture of spices between sweet and salty into a unique combination.
Interesting dish such as gourami with a variety of choices of herbs such as Pla Tod Yam Mamuang, fish mixed with flour and served with fresh and delicious mango topping. For drinks, of course, you must try Thai Tea. Thai drink, a blend of tea and milk produce a thick and tasty combination.
My lunch experience on Thai Street was truly unexpected. It is rare for an affordable and tasty Thai restaurant, this is a spot that must be included in the list. Besides that, you can also get a discount promo up to 50% using Chope. Let's install now.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors ...
