Available in Indonesia language: http://foodiozid.blogspot.com/2016/12/chop-chop-resto-greenville-jakarta-barat.html

Another time with Foodenak Indonesia. This time we are attending one of Asian Western restaurant spotted in Greenville, West Jakarta. From the street, this place is look much visible with huge signage standing up there. Chop Chop resto is restaurant with classic menu consisted by various Asian & Western menu.

The interior fulled by white and red color with modern concept, quite fancy but maintain in plain color. It does not have a huge space, i guess it would be fit about 20-30 persons. During daylight, it sure helped alot for us to take a picture. Since bright sunlight from from the glass door streams into the restaurant.

In here, we may choose various of Asian dish start from rice or noodles. I can tell most food here are quite affordable and it does tasty. Just like the Lo Mie Seafood. Chinese noodles braised in thick sauce with bunch of seafood and vegetables.

One of my favorite here is the Bacon Fried Rice. I assure you it is tasty and bacon such a joyful. Other then Asian food, they also available with western steak and pasta. I think for the western food are not so amazing as the Asian foods.

Pasta taste quite plain, it does creamy but not much seasoning i could taste in it. And for the steak, it is quite good seasoning, only if the meat could be more tender should be perfect. As been through many authentic western restaurant, i think the western dish here have not reach my standard. But somehow, i might say other people could have been love it, it is not so bad, but i expected with better authentic taste.

For casual dining, this restaurant is recommended though. And i suggest you to try the Asian cuisines which is quite classic and authentic enough. With quick service and nice fancy ambiance i am prefer visit here during the day than evening.

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
