Bakerzin, Central Park, West Jakarta

This one restaurant should be familiar in your ear. Bakerzin could be found in malls around jakarta. Actually they are popular by their colorful macaroons, but they also serve various of western and asian heavy meals. Don't forget the various cakes as well.

Bakerzin Central Park has nice and lovely place though. Beautiful couches around with bright red and orange color, then it has outdoor space where facing to the park. But for you non smoking, so pick inside area please to be comfortable.

I have been come to here for several times before. Of course i had been try some kind of their cuisines. But now i am going to try typical fav Indonesian dish which is House Special Fried Rice.

Quite huge bowl of brown color fried rice with sausage, fried egg, vegie and pickles. I think it is not bad, it is good seasoning, rice cooked well done, sausage has nice tender texture and also fresh vegie and pickles. But somehow it should be better when you go to authentic Indonesian restaurant looking for typical fried rice.

Next dish i have was a Beef Roasted Pasta. As you know this is one of fav pasta kind in town. But i think this is not fascinating as first one. Pasta is bit under seasoning, only thick cream all over it. And beef slices just fine at all when it covered up by the cream sauce.

Don't forget the Vegie Tortilla. The mexican style of bread filled with chopped vegetables. I am not sure what is it, i guess it is spinach. Bread kind of too dry, filling i take it is fine i think.

After main course i also had two kind of cakes for my dessert. Actually Bakerzin is having many kind of cakes. Each has beautiful shapes, color and flavors.
I think it should be depends on your preferences about the taste, some are really sweet, moist, firm or lemon sour.

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There
