During Christmas month, i have been attended a Christmas dinner with some of my fellow from previous work. As heard of, Cassis is one of recommended fine dining restaurant spotted in Central Jakarta. I may say it has nice and beautiful place, especially they set much of glowing lights, Christmas decoration during this Holy month.


Not only about the Christmas, this restaurant sure have classic ambiance and exclusive interior. It has quite huge space with western style room. About the menu, we won't find a long list of food. Other than ala carte, they do offer a set menu start from 4 courses during dinner time.



This dining sure the moment for us to approach the togetherness of friendship. Not only my fellow, there also some of new friends that i just know and we could get along together. Cassis is offering various of western food and they suggest with wine pairing. But seems no one wants to have it, so we only having food and some of cocktails.




I do love all foods here, start from salmon, pork, chicken and duck, all sure have good tenderness and such a good seasoning. Before start our dining, we are served by the compliment with welcome bread and raspberry granita. It is one of standard for semi-fine dining concept i guess.



I can tell they have a good food, nice presentation and full enough for you a person. Other than food, they also offering the exclusive ambiance with classic western interior restaurant.





But during that moment, we were had little upset service while we supposed to be reserved for 8 persons, but then suddenly the other mates are come out along to here where the restaurant do not have any available seats on the spot.

It should be no problem, since some of friends might be wait for a while until they get a seat. But in fact, the waitress won't allow us to standing wait in the restaurant and they don't even give any solution about it. Actually i do not see any space for waiting around this place though.




I have been travelling around and exploring the fine dining restaurant concept with such service or a Michelin star standard where they do serve all the customers need in good way. Even they do really care about customer and the perfection our moment during dining at there. But somehow, in this restaurant i just feel they do not reach up the good standard of service even give no smile at all to customer. Other than that, i must say they do have beautiful and stunning restaurant concept.

Don't forget they do serve a good real foods. With such a standard, i guess it is normal for this restaurant has high level of food. They sure show it up about how much cost we need to pay while dining here. 



Overall, i do love food in this place. And perfect interior sure give me a good exclusive moment while dining at here. Only if they could do something better about the service, i might say they are totally perfect. But maybe, in another visit you could have a great moment there, if talking about the food, i totally recommend you to visit here.

Back to Jakarta, return to my usual activities. Exploring a restaurant with a variety of concepts into daily routine that i do during a food blogging. Well, this time the opportunity together with Nibble Indonesia, an IOS and Android based app with culinary information feature that provides a reference for us.
