Actually this spot is for hang out with friends, spend time by chit chat and coffee. As by the name, Koffie means coffee, Warung means shop, Tinggi is Tall. Not sure how history of it, but as seen, this place has been exist since 1878. I assume they have long history about it. By the concept, they serve various of traditional coffee also with modern coffee. Among the coffee, they also serve bunch of Indonesian food e.g. Nasi goreng, bakmi goreng or others similar dish. Restaurant is categorized by two spot which is non-smoking area and smoking area. But in fact, two area doesn't have any walls or separated which is you could smell the smoke from the other side. At first i found out the waiter is friendly and nice but what sad is, he is kind of lack information about the menu. I need to twice to ask what special menu they have. This time i only try the Salted Caramel Latte which is recommended with star.

Warteg is traditional eatery we may found alot in town. As usual, warteg only serving various of Indonesian home foods with traditional style. This time i'd like to mention the warteg with modern style called The Fame. It is located at Sabang street, Central Jakarta. We know this area has been crowded with many eateries also office and department store. Actually The Fame is same located with Martabak Boss, one of hits martabak spot in town. From the street we may see a huge bright with lights signage which is really clear about this restaurant. similar with traditional warteg, i saw a various cuisines ready when we came in the restaurant. But in here we also available to order ala carte from the menu. They also serve various of satay with many kind of sauces we may choose. At first, i found out some waiters are not capable enough to explain about the menu like example how many skewer on one plate also how many piece the squid in a portion. Normally Japanese shabu shabu is common to be found in town. But this time i having chance to try Shanghai shabu shabu held by Pergi Kuliner at Dolar Shop Resto around Gajah Mada Area. Basicly is it a Chinese restaurant from the concept, theme and interior.  It is located inside the QNB Bank building on top floor. It has really huge space of restaurant though, we are not going to have various chinese cuisines here, but we are going to have a Shanghai style shabu shabu which is not common in town.

Don't refused the dessert. Eric Kayser is one of top bakery in town i recommended. They are served various of beautiful bakery and pastry. Actually they have been opening several branch abroad a malls.  This time i am having try their beautiful Eclair, 

This time i having chance to try another Padang restaurant in town. This place is famous by their Fish Head Curry. It is located around Pasar Baru area, as normally Padang restaurant, it has typical concept of depot style eatery. For note there's no air conditioner in this restaurant.  As recommended, i am ordering for the famous Seabass in Curry. Anyway they only served the fish head in thick curry sauce. It absolutely huge size of fish head, actually it is not my favorite part of fish, but for text my curiosity, this is a must dish to try in here.

After work, long day and tired is moment where i'd like to have a quick, simple, huge and delicious. After a hour meeting at Plaza Indonesia, i am heading to one of Burger spot at downstairs, It is not difficult to find this place which is you could see a huge letter signage "Fat Burger". The place is not really big, maybe around 10-12 tables. For quick choice i choose Blackpepper Classic Burger .

Back from travelling, i am sure miss Indonesian food really much. This weekend, there's an travel event organised by BC and supported by SQ airlines at Plaza Senayan where i saw totally crowded line from down to upstairs. Seems like everyone really excited about this. while at there, i am looking for Indonesian restaurant and i found Seroeni at Senayan City across the Plaza Senayan. At 11.00 am, it looks not quite many customers coming yet. I guess since it is not lunch time yet. It has bright wooden color around the restaurant from the ceiling, tables, chair and the staff all wearing typical Indonesia attire which is they really show obviously Indonesia restaurant. As i am craving Indonesian food a lot, so i pick what best in this countri is of course Fried Rice. For this time, i choose Belacan Fried Rice .
