Anigré, Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City, South Jakarta

Bahasa l English

The month of Ramadan has been going on a week, a moment where all the Muslims are doing the fasting before welcoming the Eid-Al-Fitr. This moment is certainly ideal for gathered for breaking the fast with family, co-workers or any reunion with school friends. Good news is, many restaurants recommended are offering interesting deals too.

Anigré is one of the all-day dining restaurant located in a 5-star hotel around South Jakarta. This can be a good option for you to do the Iftar together. The elegant concept of the restaurant, the colour touch of white all over the area feels classy. Basically, the menu offered is still similar to the usual, many choices of local Indonesian cuisines. Oxtail Soup, Noodle Soup, Fried Meal and etc.

But since it's Ramadan, Anigré also serves some of the Middle Eastern food to provide a different experience. There is shawarma, chicken saffron, couscous and many others. In addition, there are also choices of international cuisines such as burger, Japanese oden, Shabu-shabu, and don't miss fresh seafood on ice ready to pamper the palate.

Personally, I did quite enjoyed all the foods here, it is pretty impressive. Although some Middle-Eastern dishes are adjusted to the flavour of Indonesian, so they are not really authentic, I think most of the dishes are suitable for Jakarta community. An interesting offer where there will be 2 cluster seating start from 6.00-8.00pm will be IDR 468,000++ and at 8.30-10.00pm will be IDR 270,000++, even half price than the normal. Of course, this is included with ta'jil (sweet meal to break the fast) drinks and also many pastries and ice cream which is indulging.

Bahasa l English This month has indeed become a moment where the restaurant and hotel business has begun to attract customers with various offers. Not to forget, the opening of several new restaurants has also colored the city of Jakarta recently. One of them is August, which is located in the Sudirman area, more precisely at Sequis Tower. This restaurant has opened on November 25th, 2021. The elegant and premium concept can be seen from the exterior and interior of the restaurant. The area is quite spacious with a charming bar in the front room, then an open kitchen which provides an interesting experience for guests to see the activities of the chefs in the lively kitchen. On weekends, you can see the number of guests filling the entire table, it's a good idea to make a reservation in advance . When I had dinner there, they happened to have no available alcohol because they were taking care of licensing and distribution issues. So I brought wine with a corkage fee of IDR 250,000

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
