The long-awaited evening has arrived. Gala dinner in the framework of the announcement of Top 40 Jakarta's Best Eats organized by Foodies.ID, a publisher in the field of food & beverage that is now a leading media in Jakarta. Together with Aqua Reflections, the best mineral water product with undoubted quality. On  February, 22nd 2018 at the Four Seasons Jakarta ballroom, the Jakarta's Best Eats Awards list was announced in 3 categories.
Starting from Casual Dining, Upmarket Venue to Fine Dining. Each of these elections is certainly viewed from various perspectives by some people who are experts in the culinary industry. This award is an appreciation for the best restaurants in Jakarta and also provides interesting and useful information for culinary enthusiasts anywhere.
The event was attended by the restaurateurs, chefs, hoteliers, and some bloggers. With Glam In white theme, there were many guests in white clothing that provide an elegant atmosphere. The Jakarta's Best Eats assessment is divided by 50% of the food taste, 20% from service quality, 20% from drink and wine menu and 10% from place and interior design also character.
For your information, each judging by a member jury only for restaurants visited in the past 12 months. Every restaurant visit is certainly done without the knowledge of the restaurant to get the results of an accurate assessment and in accordance with the true quality. The expert judges who are trusted to provide this awards assessment are Petty Elliott, a chef. Jed Doble is a food writer, Linda Tan, a gourmet, Rinrin Marinka a chef, Ade Putri Pramadita a food storyteller, Hans Danial a food blogger and Ruli Tobing representative from Danone Aqua.
Familiar restaurants like St Ali Jakarta, Warung Turki, Gioi are on the casual dining list, then Upmarket Venue with more listings like Altitude Grill, Caffé Milano, Kembang Goela, Le Quartier, Momozen and more. Followed by several fine dining restaurants such as Akira Back, Amuz, Namaaz and more. Special awards such as Bar Of The Year are earned by León, Chef Of The Year earned by Chef Ragil Imam Wibowo from Nusa Indonesian Gastronomy and the latest announcement, Restaurant Of The Year is obtained by KAUM.
The event took place with a lively accompanied by enthusiastic guests waiting for the announcement of the best restaurant in Jakarta. After awarding the charter to the winners, the event is continued with dinner and attractive door prizes giveaway from vouchers to the latest mobile phones. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community.
