European - Asian Dining, Ninety Nine, Pesanggrahan

Been lately, i always do little experiment of cooking. find new recipe by online is one of easiest thing to do. What major problem is looking for unfamiliar ingredients at supermarket. I tend go to Ranch Market and Foodhall where we could find more imported products and ingredients. Even though not all ingredients are completed, but at least we may found some other alternative.

This time i am looking for double cream to make a Tiramisu, actually i had been some of supermarket in town, but what i found only whipped cream, cooking cream, sour cream and i couldn't find the double cream. So i decided to just use whipped cream, i assume it's not thick as double cream, but it may useable.



I went to Ranch Market around Pesanggrahan area, it has huge Ranch Market there, got a Starbucks next to supermarket and there completed with Ace Hardware in one building. Also in this supermarket has a restaurant on second floor. It is Ninety Nine, what i know is this restaurant is part of Ranch Market Group as well, two of this place are under same roof owner. Ninety-Nine is European-Asian style restaurant, based from the menu, they are serving various of western and Asia-Indonesia Menu. 

It's quiet late of night, 9.00pm so i just order basic main menu without any starter or even dessert. i ordered two menu by Norwegian Salmon on western menu and Crispy Pork Nuckle on asian menu also drink Berry Crush Ice Tea.

It is a grilled salmon with roasted vegetables and bearnaise sauce. Salmon is in good color, nice texture and juicy well done. This bearnaise sauce taste bit sour and various roasted veggies are consistent.



Another dish is CRISPY PORK KNUCKLE. It is a Slow roasted pork knuckle, buttered rice, vegetable, chili flakesWell, this one not really great i may say.

Pork has nice seasoning, but it is too dry and need more effort to have another bite of it. Rice is just average and veggies is unnessecary when only 2 bunch of it.  I am quiest disappointed with this one. What i may recommended, Western menu is better in this restaurant i guess. Drink is good, it is delightful Berry Ice Tea.



It is has lovely flavour and beautifully mixed with slices of strawberries. Allover, this restaurant just fine, they have good concept, kind of western style interior but we may found little asia ambience around the restaurant. Service is enough, not awesome. when first came in restaurant, no one waiter or waitress are welcoming, even we need to find seat ourself. And i really recommended to just have western menu at there.
