Following the rapidly changing culinary trend in Jakarta, it is unquestionable that Chinese cuisine is among the city's most popular foods. Chinese restaurants once dominated in North and West Jakarta, but they have since extended to Central and South Jakarta. Apollo Wu, a Chinese restaurant just launched at the end of 2024 in the Kuningan region of Jakarta, specifically in The East building, an upscale office area.

The wonderful décor begins as soon as you enter the restaurant, with a corridor lined with gorgeous oriental decorations. Classic Chinese nuances create a different mood in an office building. In terms of capacity, it is not particularly large, but there are two VIP rooms that are suitable for any occasion. The wonderful interior design is seen throughout the restaurant.
The signature dish here is Charsiu Trinity, also known as Charsiu Platter. A prepared dish of barbecue pork cooked using several techniques. Starting with A5 Charsiu, Cantonese, Crispy Pork Belly, Honey Charsiu, and Chicken Charsiu. It must be noted that the Charsiu offered is genuinely excellent, particularly A5 and Pork Belly, which have an extremely soft texture and melt in the mouth. With outstanding cooking techniques, pork meals are elevated to the next level.
Other menu options include classic dishes, Crispy Roast Soy Chicken, a roasted chicken dishes with comforting taste. Prawn Ball Trilogy are crispy shrimp balls offered with three different flavors and modern accents like black truffle or cheese. There's also Sifu's Claypot Crispy Rice Soup, which reminds me of childhood dishes and is quite comforting.
Then there's Dragon Xo Fried Rice, which is red fried rice made with natural dragon fruit coloring. The large serving is ideal for sharing food. Don't miss the gorgeous Lucky Kitty dessert, almond milk pudding, and sago mango boba with a cute white cat presentation.
The wide assortment includes dishes made with chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. complete with a menu that includes rice, noodles, and a variety of vegetables—all prepared, of course, using high-quality ingredients and precise cooking methods by an excellent team. It is reasonably priced for a restaurant in the Kuningan region. This restaurant is ideal for events like gatherings of families. They serve a range of beverages in addition to meals, and their indoor bar creates a unique environment akin to a full moon night. Given the approaching Chinese New Year, Apollo Wu would be a fascinating choice.
