Bahasa l English

Time flies pretty fast this year, the end of the year is closer. 2020 is a year full of stories compared to previous years where Covid become one of the most talked-about in the world today. It is undeniable that Indonesia has become one of the nations with a large number of Covid patients and until now the number is still increasing every day. Well, it should be better if we keep wearing a mask, washing hands, and keeping out the distance to prevent the potential for the spread of the virus.

Ok, this time I don't talk about the covid news, just a little reminder that we are currently still in a pandemic. So at the end of the year, Intercontinental Jakarta Pondok Indah offers several things to celebrate Christmas this year. We can't always be troubled by this Covid, we still have to cheer up and face this pandemic with spirit. And we know that this Christmas is always a special moment, but we need to be aware not to gather around with many people during this moment.

But to express our happiness, we can send Christmas special present with premium quality cookies from Intercontinental Jakarta. Sumptuously packed in a blue box, this would of course make a perfect Christmas gift.

On Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, you can also visit Sugar & Spice to taste special dishes to celebrate Christmas. No need to worry, the family will remain safe in the dine-in because the hotel has carried out the New Normal protocol according to government mandatory with discipline. For each food display, everything is equipped with a border acrylic in order to keep the distance. And every guest is not allowed to take the food by themselves so there will be staff to give a hand.

So at this Enchanting Christmas, Intercontinental Jakarta is also collaborating with Chef Petty Elliott who is staying in the UK to do a cooking live show on Instagram on 10th Dec 2020 at 05.00pm Jakarta. The audience will be invited to take part in the "Cook with Us Challenge" where you can follow every step presented by Chef Petty to make Mince Pies in Two ways with one British style and another is Manadonese style.

And there is also a prize for the cooking competition, the winner will get a one-night stay at the Classic Room Intercontinental Jakarta and includes breakfast for two. Interesting isn't it?! For more information, you can contact the number and email below.

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London.
