TAvailable in Bahasa: Click Here

This time, coffee shop has been easy to found around Jakarta. It has become one of favorable spot for people to visit during weekend or spare time. We may found many coffee shop from central of downtown till the corner of city with various different interesting concept.

Other than that, coffee shop have been growing up following the time and trend that has been going on. Not only about various coffee beans, brewing technique, but now we also could enjoy various of delicate dishes for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even dinner.

Westport Coffee House may be a good choice for us to hang out in Jakarta. Built in modern concept of coffee shop with youthful ambiance surely attractive. Decorated with bold wooden theme all over the coffee shop make me feels comfortable. There also available a space on second floor with bit different theme, bright wooden color minimalist and modern. Then it has letter paintings on wall with bunch of quote related to coffee also huge wallpaper of city somewhere decorating wall.

I totally recommended this coffee shop, especially for me not  a coffee fan, i may have various of good real food in here. They do offer various of Western dishes that seems interesting. Available with light bites or even main courses that we may enjoy along with cup a coffee or drink.

Apparently my visit this time, day was totally gloomy and had a heavy rain. So i was decided to stay longer at there and have some foods. I did really excited, with nice cozy ambiance does make me feels really good spent time at there.

Accompanied with nice food, Chicken Ala Horno with beautiful presentation and looks interesting. Chicken has tender and moist texture, cooked with sligthly short time grill then served along with tasty chimichurri sauce aside.

This sure was a great experience for me. I also have met the owner of Westport Coffee who shared a nice information about the development or evolution of coffee shop business lately.

What i can tell is, in fact for enjoying a cup of coffee or a plate of food, it would be nicer when we do visit the place where we also able to socialized with some mates or people. Indeed, this time an online application has become a convenient choice for people to order food. But what we need to notice is, we would not able to taste the food instantly when it served, also feel the concept & ambiance that restaurant and coffee shop offered.

Black Owl, PIK, Jakarta

Bahasa l English A favorite destination for the Jakarta community, which is famous for its hawker centers, from street food, restaurants to elegant lounge bars. This week, another good news for restaurant and bar fans, Black Owl is back in operation from the previous location in the PIK 1 area, now they are presented new location with a different concept. As soon as you pass through this area, you can clearly see the Black Owl with a black building with an owl logo on it. Seen the parking area is quite large and still not too crowded during the day. Once inside, we will pass through a hallway with a very high ceiling. My suggestion is it's best to make a reservation in advance to save your table. Black Owl comes with a restaurant and bar concept, a very stunning interior with dominant dark colors such as black and dark wooden material throughout the large room. The dim lights look calm and elegant, and what's amazing is the giant LCD screen that stretches to the ceiling. There

Tom's by Tom Aikens, The Langham Jakarta

Bahasa l English A sunny weekend where the pandemic conditions in Indonesia have been getting better lately. Activities in public spaces are getting normal, so we can find some places with crowds. One of them is this restaurant which took a few weeks for me to make a reservation in advance because it was full every weekend. The Langham Jakarta has only been operating this year and has attracted great enthusiasm from Jakarta's community. No exception with the restaurant which was built with a luxurious British concept and developed by a chef from England, Tom Aikens who manages a Michelin Star restaurant in London. Carrying the name Tom's by Tom Aikens with a variety of classic British dishes. The location of this restaurant is on the L floor, the reception area, and arguably the 62nd floor. A restaurant with a large enough area capacity, high ceilings, touches of white, blue, red sofas, and gold-tone lamps give the room an English-style atmosphere. Seen quite crowded visitors
