Bangkok became my favorite destination in Southeast Asia. Every year i tend to visit this city for a culinary tour with an intriguing Thai food. Not to forget, i also enjoy the hobby of a different experience with a lot of hotel variants. Not infrequently also 5-star hotel with complete facilities and satisfactory service.

At the end of 2017 last year, i chose the hotel one of them was Sofitel Sukhumvit. With the location in the center of the city is very crowded and there is a shopping mall around it make this area quite crowded. The majestic and tall buildings are clearly visible from the outside. Entering the lobby was greeted with a large and lively Christmas tree is really beautiful.

For members provided executive lounge where we can get the benefit of check-in faster and more private. The Executive lounge is located on the 31st floor with an amazing height to see the city of Bangkok. Beautiful lounge interiors with a very wide area, classical and artistic is perfect for taking pictures.

Here, special for member will get benefit afternoon tea and evening cocktail every day without additional cost. Not to forget, we can enjoy breakfast here and available all day refreshment of course. For the rooms are quite big however i've seen larger rooms in other Sofitel. But Ii need to say that Sofitel Sukhumvit has a classic interior with elegantly impressed colors, floor with wooden elements and cabinets also floral carpets give a beautiful touch. There's available amenities Hermes complete with shower room and bathtub is very comfortable to enjoy a warm bubble bath.

Large mattress with King Size bed feels spacious and very soft. Also by request we can get more pillow through housekeeping. Resting in this elegant hotel is very comfortable, facing the large windows while enjoying the breathtaking views of Bangkok.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor with ample area. In accordance with its location, this hotel is very crowded by guests, especially at the end of the holiday season. Visible at breakfast time, the whole seat is almost fully loaded and the bustling atmosphere is felt here. The menu is available according to the 5 star hotel, the variant is very much, the choice of fruits, Western food, Asian to Thai local food. Of course complete with a variety of dessert and cakes are lovely to miss.

No less interesting is the swimming pool with some bird cage decorations that can be used as a seat. There are two in front of the pool area with a large size, then there are also two in the end pool with a small waterfall shower from the top so it makes it very instagramable. It is not as wide as a pool in the resort area in general, but with a calm atmosphere, it is perfect for relaxing in the middle of the dense city of Bangkok.

In the evening, we can enjoy a rooftop bar with a splendid altitude view at L'Appart, a restaurant and bar with a large area, an attractive interior in accordance with the concept of an apartment where there is a living room area, a library and so does the kitchen. Many interesting sides to be used as a photo object, especially in the living room contained a couch complete with a chimney at home. Then the amazing thing from L'Appart is the balcony area with views of the city of Bangkok from a height that looks very beautiful. Filled with lights and traffic highways look sparkling at night.

The menu offered consists of a variety of classic French dishes, there is also a snack that fits once enjoyed while relaxing and accompanied by a glass of cool and fresh cocktails. The atmosphere at night is very crowded with foreign tourists mainly from Europe. It is better to make reservations in advance especially during the holiday season.
